STOP GIVING THE BASTARDS MONEY IF YOU WANT THEM TO CHANGE. MONEY IS ALL THEY UNDERSTAND.

THIS! 🙌🏼 exactly why I haven’t renewed my pass.

Couldn’t agree more. So here’s my 2 cents… that no one asked for 😂

I’m a GC local and always have both VRTP and DW / WWW yearly passes, however  around September last year when the time came around to renewing, I couldn’t justify renewing my VRTP pass for a few reasons. Number one reason, price. I think $220 at the time was a bit extreme. With the recent GC deal over the holidays, I was considering getting it but I still don’t think it's worth it in the state the parks are currently in. I honestly found myself riding Levi at Sea World a lot of the time, compared to being at MW… which is saying something. VRTP needs to pull their finger out and put some TLC into their parks. That goes for repainting the slides at W&W 🫣🤢. I feel the magic and atmosphere is declining there (MW in particular) and it’s not the same as it used to be. There’s no sense of urgency, and that applies to a lot of things. Sounds like a lot of people on here feel the same way. It was also a big mistake to remove virtual queue. It made a lot more out of your day for what it was which also pulled me into going a lot more. I know some others on here have said similar so I won’t go into it. Maybe I’m biased for Dreamworld and always will be 🤷🏻‍♂️ but for the state and how things have been operating at VRTP…. Meh. I’ll give it until WOW, Scooby & Flash to open up and maybe reconsider. I’ve had a VRTP pass for roughly at least the past 15 years, but I got too annoyed with leaving feeling unsatisfied for the past few years and it’s just getting worse.

My guess is first drop after launch - the head being in the turn, with the body a headchopper as you dive down towards the first tunnel.

I was thinking this may be a possibility, but I hope not. To me it would kind of seem a waste to put it where there’s already a headchopper moment following it 2 seconds later. I could see the snake being put on the top of the tunnel, but it would seem a waste to put that other ring right before the tunnel? It would defeat the point of them adding another headchopper moment (if that’s what they are going for which is what it looks like) where it could be a lot more effective in a different position which is what I’m hoping for. My guess would be at the end of the launch run just before it goes vertical, similar to what blue fire has. I’m keen to see what happens and where it goes!

  3. I’m maybe thinking the 18th of December. “Borders are open and so is the all new roller coaster at Dreamworld, Steel Taipan”. Sounds like it would work well for advertising. It would be a smart move imo if DW were to open ST just before the borders open so that are able to promote it in that way.

This is pretty much my thoughts right here.

What if they just did a launch focusing on ST, but also paint it as "The New DW" and re advertise SV, Maybe fully 6 and maybe some sort of other new animal...All stuff that a lot of visitors haven't seen or even be aware of (Particularly SV IMO)

It would be cool to see SV obtain a license for another flyover elsewhere which can also be a good promo addition. Out of the two played so far, the USA version was definitely my favourite

The Westside camera has been removed while the construction of ST is underway. But it could possibly return as the current pathway will be altered, so that you can access Giant Drop from the stairs again. I don’t think the Westside has operated since the parks reopening last year.

I was told the Westside is hoping to be operational by the time ST opens. But who knows. I miss the view on the Westside
