Supervillains definitely was a winter holidays event until last year when it was moved to summer due to covid closures
whilst I can’t specifically recall who/where it was said - I’m pretty sure I did hear that based on the success of HFH they were looking at making it an annual thing. Of course the events of the past few months covid wise may have impacted that decision
Heroes and villains still says on movieworld’s website stay tuned for future dates, I’m pretty much 100% certain hooray for Hollywood will ge an annual event which I’m stoked about!! 🤩🤩🤩

Yep. Rivals did a few cycles after rope drop and then broke down. We left and went to Dreamworld after waiting about an hour for it to reopen but it never did so unsure as to when/if it reopened.
What about the rides in the kids section?

Rivals did end up opening back up, a ride like rivals is usually never down long

Was there this morning and pretty much everything was closed except Scooby, Doomsday & Batwing and the place was packed. Lots of unhappy families.
Even rivals??

There's been a train sitting at the bottom of the lift hill for almost two weeks now, so safe bet is probably an issue with the lift hill.
Yeah that’s the most likely cause

We highly doubted LPS would see a complete reinvestment. 😉
In the words of our modern-day oracle Justin Bieber, I will never say never.

Anyone got updates on trident and leviathan? I’m thinking it’s now likely it’ll be delayed again

Not sure if it’s maintenance related but every front row on every log on Wild West falls is unavailable . Does anyone know why?

I’d say it’s because of the amount of staff off currently due to Covid or awaiting results, unfortunately there isn’t much they can do
Exactly, they unfortunately don’t have much other options, and I reckon it’ll only get worse come Saturday

What if someone wants to try the spinning seats? Do they have to swap trains out especially for them?

is it just the movies themselves cancelled or the whole staying open late thing too?
My guess is hours too

Big crates were being delivered to Showcase today, guessing a Boxing Day opening.
Same, here’s hoping! It would be awesome

Not a huge amount to report, test seat outside the ride. Boarding gates much like a coaster, water is currently clear.
Ride didn’t feel any different with the new boats, although some reports have stated they were moving to no loose items onboard this is not the case.
Some of the effects are still as they were prior to closure. New spash trough prior to the water tower appears to have been built but was not functional.
LOVE the old time saloon doors !!

The only person exaggeration of the truth is @Thrill Seeker
Still if it didn’t happen then why say it did? Does thrill seeker have a vendetta against movieworld or something??
@Thrill Seekerstop making up stories about bad things happening at movieworld dude

So did these things happen legitimately or is everyone on here trying to bring movieworld down???

Rumour is, Village is currently going through a staff shortage. With White Christmas & mandated vaccines to keep your job maybe the staff are burning out.
Carnivale being pushed back to the end of Jan says to me the rumour could be true and Village don't have the staff to run an event and deal with the Christmas crowds at once.
Maybe the seats being out has nothing to do with getting the parts and has more to do with they don't have enough staff to fit the parts. (just thoughts)
Doomsday destroyer has a lot of unavailable seats too when I last looked when I last visited on Friday

also with Vortex’s maintenance, the gondola has been lifted from parked positioned to about a 45 degree angle for the past couple of days, does anyone else think it could be a possibility they are installing fountains to interact with the riders or could they reprogramming the ride to do a new cycle?
Oooh that’d be awesome 🤩 fingers crossed 🤞
