Ive been to california, two years running now, I took a friend so that it was cheaper twin share. we had return air-fare qantas, 17 nights accom villager lodge, airport transfers, 14 day disney hopper, knotts berry+transfers,universal+transfers, sixflags+transfers,LA city tour 7 hours, it cost $2467,per person form qld. Then we did extra while we were there. but i didnt manage to spend my $1000 usd either, and i didnt miss out on anything i wanted to buy.

I think it will be a great night, and maybe we will be able to catch up and say hi, cause it looks like theres a few of us going already!

I know, thats why i said im not sure if it was true, i was just told today by some staff that he had, so i thought id post, as i like informing my fellow themepark pals the info on DW.

hi all, I was at dreamworld today, and was told that CEO tony braxton smith has resigned.(22/03/) im not sure if its true or official but thats what i got told by some staff today.

the two corner pieces are large ones, if they put them together they would easily be able to get the entire train on. i was thinking they might make a display and put the train on it, but i think it would lokk cool midway on the loop.

just a quick note, the other day when i was at dreams, when i was watching the thunderbolt being put into trucks b4 i spoke to bob, he had a tape measure on two two pieces of corner track, the only to pieces in full pieces. i wonder if they are going to do something with those too! he was with a worker measuring the lengt hand was making alot of hand gestiures. Its just interesting that thate rest of the track is cut into tiny scrao and we still have two full corner pieces? see ya

Ialready said i was wrong about the name,and manufactuour to start with. now if you would prefer till we had the exact model spefications layout location right from the word go, e.g a few mths ago, we had may aswell not post anything about a new ride or anything because the more finer details. e.g the manufactour, specs e.t.c dont become available to much later, any later and u ,may aswell wait for the park themselves to tell everyone. All i was doing was telling u the info i got mths ago aBOUT A RIDE that looked like the delerium so that is why i siad it was that, dose it matter they are the same thing anyhow. then i just told everyone were it was going, sorry if i dont have a blue print of its exact to the mm or cm location, but telling u its at the rouindabout is good enough, finally i tell u its opening in septemper which none of u knew i thought that was great news!! but instead i get attacked

ok i will reply, when i first told you all about the new ride, i said it was a huss delirium, that is correct, i said this because when i was told i had just seen the foxtel documentary and i seen that ride on there, and with the picture i seen from the staff i assumed thats what it was---i didnt go looking through ride catalouges to see if intamin had one. so i guess saying it was a huss delirium i was wrong. but saying that it is the same kind of ride and thats all i cared about, telling what they were getting. second of all, i said it was going were the roundabout is, and after my discussion yesterday, i was told that it was going were the roundabout is, wheather or not it be smack bang on the roundabout or 3 meters away, i was only telling the location of where its going. its not like i was wrong and said its going near blue lagoon. but thats ok ill thank myself for the hot news i gave , its location and opening date.

well everyone i have some news!!!!, this is just an update to my previous thread. i was at dreamworld today, minding my own bussiness, watching the thunderbolt be palced in to trucks. (i was watching from the cyclone exit). when bob the head of engineering walked past and went to see some workers. 10 mins later he came back and walked up to me and said , are u here to ride or to watch? i said i was here to watch, he asked me if id been on the thunderbolt i said yes many times, and he just had a general chat about it being a sad moment. after that i turned and said to him, so when are we getting the intamin gyro swing, and he smiled at me and said you seem to know more about the park than me, he then replied and said im bob and he shook my hand and asked my name? then he said we have purchased the gyro swing from intamin and it will be in operation Guess when ppl????you dont have to wait till boxing day, ill tell u in the next post!! no how about now, it will be in operation in SEPTEMBER!!!!!! and for all you ppl that didnt believe me when i told u its location i asked the man myself and he said it will be placed near the roundabout opposite the wipeout, for maximum exposure when u turn from the main entrance!! so dont tell me its to small of an area cause he told me thats where its going! see yuo all soon! im glad i keep giving u all the hot goss!!!!ill take credit for it!! i was the first to post about the new ride and its location, now im just confirming for u, ill keep u posted!

hi all, just a quick hello, i was at dw again yesterday, my friend told me that staff were told that no attractions have been or will be purchased from sydney. also have u checked out my pics on my thunderbolt update, i have 2 footer bolts, i have scanned them for u all to see.

Dreamworld staff were told the other day by management that no rides have benn or will be purchased from interstae. did u all check out my pics on my thunderbolt update?

I visited dreamworld today 7/03 and the thunderbolt has all the middle section gone and two piles of metal piled like rubbish in the centre area of thunderbolt. The lift hill and a little section of the first drop are still there, aswell as the two loops, (which dreamworld is keeping i was told today!) and the only other part standing is the two sections that go over the top of the station area just after the loops. I have aquied two footer bolts yeah!! and should hopefully be recieving a wheel from the coaster!! (hopefully i should have a wheel next week from friend also for ppl that have passes and go to the bb cafe for happy hour, they have canned it! they dont advertise that promo anymore, but for now u can just ask and youll get it. I also have pics of my footer bolts.

Can i just say i believe that i was the first one on this forum to tell everyone about this ride, and i was told twice now that it will be located near wipeout(roundabout area) i can assure u the ride is coming to dreamworld(and im just telling u that i was told by two ppl now that it will be located next to wipeout. i too think the area is a little small, but im just posting what ive been told, same as right back in november when i was the first to tell u about the ride(i do belive i started this thread!)

when i say near roundabout, we are assuming that it will bve placed exactly were the roundabout is now, thats what has been told so far

hi all, just letting you know i got more info on the new ride from my friend at dreamworld! i have been informed now that the new ride like i said earlier will be near wipeout...where you ask? it will be placed near the roundabout at the entrance to ocean parade. the one thats opsite the staff doors where kenny drives out. And yes it will definatley be the huss delrium like at paramont. see you soon! ill keep u posted with more news soon

i was actually referring to the giant frisbee that is called Delirium. Thanks for pointing that out djrappa. I also found out that with the storm last week, a tree fell over the log ride and over the path to the big brother house. see you at DW!!!!

isint it funny that in are australian parks, you cant take cameras on rollercoasters, yet when i went to america, i took my video camera on nearly every rollercoaster i went on......GOLIATH..COLLOSSUS...PHYCLONE...FLASHBACK..CALIFORNIA SCREAMING....BIGTHUNDER..SPACEMOUNTAIN...MATTERHORN MOUNTAIN..the only ride at disney that i wasnt allowed to film was on mailliboomer....only x and deja vu are u not allowed to at sixflags magic mountain. just a little info for everyone..my two centts worth. although saying that...when i went back to america this year there were no cameras allowed on any of the big rides at knotts berry farm, but last year i did.

Hi all, hope everyone enjoyed getting some news on whats install xmas 2004, i also agree with richard that the 2nd nick land wont happen, but the huss delirium will. Hear from you all soon! (i will kepp u posted if i hear anything else) Also has every one seen the tomb raider attraction taking shape..they have taken the wooden seats out of gum tree gully thearter, and have built the walls of the tombraider infront off all the previous bulidings, so u can no longer see the thearter or the hot dog place.

HI ALL, JUST A QUICK NOTE, I GOT SOME INSIDE INFO FROM A FRIEND AT DREAMWORLD..THERE NEW RIDE FOR XMAS 2004...WILL BE A ( HUSS DELIRIUM) SAME AS AT PARAMONT KINGS ISLAND!!!!!!! THEY EVEN DREW A PICTURE OF IT, FROM WHAT THEY WERE SHOWN IN A MEETING. RUMOUR HAS IT- IT WILL BE GOING SOMEWHERE NEAR WIPEOUT..AND THE THUNDERBOLT SITE IS RUMOURED TO BE A SECOND NIC LAND. BUT THE NIC THINK IS A RUMOUR, THE OTHER IS CONCRETE!!!

Dose anyone think that perilous plunge would be good for dreamworld!!! Its an awsome ride, however you are better off just jumping fully clothed into a pool..lol. (the only thing is, i doubt intamin will build another perilous plunge due to the accident at knotts berry, and the awfull load times it now has with the racing harness)still anyone like to see one at dreamworld???

The wait times at dreamworld arnt that bad...if u get there for 10am you can get at least 4-5 rides on the drop b4 u even start getting a wait..and if u have friends working..you dont have to get off at all.(my record is 6 times without getting off)i got bored after that! also wait times at movieworld arnt that bad either..we got to dw and mw nearly every sunday...and scooby just recently, has been a walk on walked on...about 8 ppl in front. Who else in the forums has year pass to dw and mw..i have both...see you there sometime LETS HOPE FOR SOME GREAT RIDES WITHIN THE NEXT FEW YEARS!!!!! dw should be getting a flat ride next, not a coaster for a while...a friend told me(ride op)

I WAS AT THE MOUNTAIN LAST WEEK, I WENT TO THE US FOR A 3 WEEK THEME PARK ADVENTURE.....SCREAM LOOKS VERY GOOD!! IT OPENS APRIL 12TH....I WENT ON A SUNDAY...THE LINE FOR X IN THE AFTERNOON WAS ONLY 1HR15MINS...BETTER THAN LAST YEAR WHEN IT OPENED,PPL WERE QUINING FOR 6 HRS!! RIDES TO THE BACK OF THE PARK GET FULLER NEARER TO MIDDAY, SO IF U GO TO THE BACK, GET ON BATMAN, RIDDLERS REVENGE, U SHOULD GET A COUPLE OF GOES ON THEM, THEN MOVE BACK TO THE FRONT OF THE PARK!!!!! YOULL LOVE MAGICS COASTERS!!! HAVE A GREAT TIME!

JUST LETTING YOU KNOW THE INFO I GOT FROM A FRIEND (RIDE OP) AT DREAMWORLD. IT HAS A 10 YR PLAN TO MOVE THE PARK ENTRANCE TO KOALA COUNTRY END OF THE PARK!! THEY ARE ALSO GOING TO HAVE 2 MORE SEPERATE PARKS... A WATER PARK, AND A ZOO. BIG BROTHER SHOULD ALSO BE STARTING LATER THIS TIME ROUND..EARLY MAY! JUST A BIT ABOUT MYSELF, I HAVE JUST GOT BACK FROM A 3 WEEK THEME PARK TRIP IN THE USA... I DID DISNEY, CALIFORNIA ADVENTURE, KNOTTS BERRY FARM, UNIVERSAL, AND SIX FLAGS MAGIC MOUNTAIN!!
