I havent been to DW since wiggles world has opened, however from pictures ppl have taken, i just cant get over the black asphalt, the colours just look like there added in here there and everywhere. I know a painted surface fades and gets messy , but im sure a surface like around the claw area would of looked a hell of alot better. The asphalt stands out to much (making the colour signs and props look like there just put down anywhere, thats just my two cents.

Hi all, went into movieworld yesterday, after the morning at DW. I did not realise it wasnt going to go upside down rabid, i thought we were going to get a storm runner layout. i also didnt realise that are top hat will be straight up and down like the air launch coasters. Unlike xcellarator and its two big Bros, with the tist up and down. I also noticed ppl have grafitied on the track in the cart park...ttttt... not good!

adelaid has no zipper, and the ekka normaly has 2 as of recent years....lol I do want the rainbow back though, it is a good ride:) and the ali baba sucks ass.

I was at dreamworld yesterday, park was pretty empty. went on the claw 3 times, two of the times there were 2-3 ppl in line, we had to wait for ppl. Anyhow, about wiggles world. If it is opening in September, they had better get a move on. I could see right inside the big red car building, and it is totaly empty. I could see no track of any sort, and no show scenes, in the old gumtree gully thearter. The murrisippi river is now drained, not totaly empty, but its to help them build the retainer wall for the dock. And captain sturt has been pulled out of the water near the model T/ giant drop end, that boat pully thing on the bank. From what i could see, one side of the boats hand rails was totaly gone, i could be wrong it was from a distance. Tot is done for annual maintainance, it has its cage put on the tot track. One more thing, when i was leaving DW yesterday, bob tan and two other men were standing at the fountain at the front , he was doing afew hand points and stuff, he had some paper work with a picture on it, could not see what it was, i even walked behind them when they left the fountain and followed them to have a peek lol, but no luck. I then did a quick trip to movieworld, the first time ive actually been inside the park since February. Is superman going to be a very twisted coaster, because i can see no room really to pop a coaster in that spot. Especially with the new building they are building, its taking up more room. (although you cant really see anything so maybe there is a bit of land, but when u look at it from the front, the studio offices look very close on the left, and with the moviemagic sound stages, very close aswell, and lethal weapon buildings not to far in the distance either.)

The celebration kicked off MAY 5TH, for 18 mths of birthday fun. but the 17th of july is there Birthday!

It would be good to get a disneyland in australia, however i dont think i want one really. It will be just another park to get an annual pass too, then you go, you keep going until finaly your over it. I always think back to my younger teen years, and when i was younger, whe you were told you were going to DW or movieworld...it was really exciting, even upto a few days b4 you went. I hate the fact that i get bored at DW and that its not a special place anyomre(i hope that dosent sound stupid) once i had more annual pass to dreamworld, a trip to movieworld was like wow, were going to movieworld, the what happend, i then decide to get movieworld annual pass 3 years in a row now. so ive wrecked all the excitment of the special places. At least with disneyland being in america it is a huge special place, it always will be special, even though i have a premium annual pass there too now..lol, i cant go all the time and wreck it. thats my two cents on the topic....if we get a disneyland, im in the mind set that it will get boring for me too.

H guys, went to DW today b4 work, first time since april. They have planted all new palms, floliage, and added, mulch and dirt on-top of the reefdifer surrounding sand area.(there is still sand trails through the gardens still.) it looks really good. Looks more like the gardens around the claw now. Im guseesing this is new casue there were ppl still in thegardens and the mulch and dirt smelt fesh..lol. I left DW at 12-30, the claw was not in operation the whole morning i was there. I heard them tell someone that it wasnt spinning, and when i watched a few test runs, the seat ring was not rotating. Although when they stoped it, and had to mannuallly dock it, u know how they do that, the seats did rotate when it was in its stationary posi so i dont know. Also like i said i havent been in a while, but there is new sinsage to the entry of Tower of terror, and also a big new sign on the brown queue area of the drop( i well themed logo too. The place is sprucing up a bit lol. the golf putt putt is now coverd with garden bed. Down around the new wiggles world they have also strated clearing right down to the waters edge, the were meta; poles lying in the dirt tey look like supports for a big shadded area. P>S----the place was packed today,rapids and mine ride were all out there queue area.ames with angry beavers. I then did i quick drive to the Movieworl carpark to have my first peek at track...there is quite alot of it there now, i didnt count but theyed have to be 25+ full size pieces.

DJ, the enterprise pic is great, that is a pic from along time ago.....you can even see the imax shed behind the building. i would of not realised it was like that cause the mine rida now covers that shed. just looking at that pic, it really dose look like a country fair, all nice green, and heaps of those nice pine tres:) how differet is ocean parade now:P

Dreamworlds New water park that they were or are getting i was told would be a second gate park. e.g MW & WNW. but i havent heard the water park rumour around for a while, but i havent been to DW since march.

A water park was supposed to be going there, and along the front of the park. Alex what do you mean, no one will rell a single drop about a new attraction. I got a 3D piture of cyclone track layout, giving to me by a staff member B4 it was long known that they were getting it from luna park. And the claw well b4 it was known, i posted it myself. The ppl at dreamworld were the ones that told m original about movieworlds top ha coaster, if u go hunting for the thread ull see i posted it. So if ppl do know the next attraction, they do tell.

lets be done with it, put in perilous plunge, it would go well with the beach theme. They could really have a great back feature so it created the end of ocean parade. have the drop facing tiger island so the water part of the ride is the full width of the thunderbolt station and its water. Behind the ride have big palms just like in knotts. but also add heaps of folige and small palms behind:) (if we got perilous plunge!!!lets go higher!!! just so we DW get another world record holding attraction. still id like a coaster..lol

I dont think we need wiggles world. We have nick central, and that is a huge kids area with fully licensed characters and a world wide brand name product. Not to mention US parks also have nick areas. A new ride for the teen/adult market would of been better. Or just put another show in the gum tree gully therater, i liked bush magic. and the original australian jamborre. I wouldnt of minded having tomb raider stay permantley.or the mummy---even if it were only to open in the holidays. two childrens areas is too much, not to mention the areas r right next door to each other. thats my take on things, p.s if u wondering why i made a post in the this 2 mth old thread i i just seen an ad fowiggles world on the DW site and it made me think WHY.

Riddlers, i find looks an awsome coaster, the inversions are huge, and the stand-up factor is definatley cool....especialy the first time ur on it going up the lift, thinking to your-self this isnt normal..lol. I do however think that the whole course is slow, inversions are ok, but most of them are taken slow because the height they are, it slows the train down. This being said the ride stats for the actual speed is quite high, so the speed is there, but it dosent feel fast. NOW--X, as of last mth, X was very rough, not like previous times ive been on it. I ended up smacking my head aginst the back of the head rest, and boy did it hurt. I then spent the rest of the ride keeping my head away from the rretraints and head rest. As rich said, Stand Up would me a great marketable coaster. But id still like to see a scream clone, i htought it was a good coaster, it still could me markatable, its something gimmiky (floorless) so DW could make a big deal about it. Like ive said a few mths back, with movieworlds launch/top hat....Dw has let a brand new coaster design go, because its the coaster to hve. I still believe Movieworld would of really hurt DW if they had gone for the big one Kigda- ka or dragster height. Not only would movieworld have A world record holder, but it would also mean the TOT would no longer be the big icon of the Gold Coast parks.

yeah i guess it will feel stronger take off than TOT, but i did really love xcellararor, it would be awsome if the launch was longer the force was awsome . anyhow the new ride will be good, i just didnt realsie that the speed was going to be lower than xcellarator, how mucj shorter is the top hat going to be??

62.5mph, thats crap, im glad i went on xcellarator now:), this is a braand new coaster and dosent even match knotts 82mph in 2.3 secs. so the launch on superman aint going to be that great either. itll feel like califonia screeming laucnch at DCA, which is vwey weak. is 62.5mph, definatley its launch speed??

I really like DCA, and on previous trips have spent lots of time in there. all though the recent trip was more disneyland time, and kept hopping into DCA for aan hour ot two here and there. I traded in my 3 day hopper for an premium annual pass, so i can ue that when i go in march next year:)

Thats good hey, its not a live look though. the hollywood tower of terror is still getting constructed in that pic, and the bus depo across the road near mcdonalds is no longer there.
