  1. Not really too fussed on the name, its not great, but not bad either. Just so long as whats on the inside is creative and fun, a little bit of originality wouldn't go astray either. I wonder when they will launch the website? I think doing a little teaser for the park in the months prior to opening would be a great idea.

  2. Now things are really starting to get exciting! I was coming back from the coast last sunday night and could of sworn I saw slide parts, but I put it down to sleep deprivation and wishful thinking. SO happy that I was wrong! I am really looking forward to whats ahead for "Whitewater World". Even the standard flumes look like that could have some good speed and nice turns. Greats pics!!! Can't wait to see everything unfold.

  3. I'm still not entirely sure just how much room the waterpark has, it's been a while since I've driven past. However I remember reading something in the press release about how the park will use innovative methods of water conservation to reduce waste by ninety-something percent, I think. Could this mean using only run-out's instead of splash pools...this would create more room for more attractions wouldn't it??? As for the prices of the Wavepool and Flowrider, I'm not too sure. I wouldn't imagine they'd be extremely expensive. I'm really starting to think we can expect to see a good quality park. Only time will tell. . .

  4. Don't get me wrong, it's big! No doubt about that. I guess from all the pictures I've seen of other ones, in other parks, I was just expecting something a little bigger. Maybe my expectations were a lil high lol. Still can't WAIT to ride it!!!

  5. I would really like to see Dreamworld put a coaster where Blue Lagoon is, IF they remove it. I'm still not entirely sure they will, it still get's plenty of visitors from what I've seen/heard. IF Dreamworld decide to replace Blue Lagoon with a coaster, I dont want a world first or any kind of record breaker. I would rather see them spend the money they would have spent on a record breaker and build a good solid ride with DECENT themeing. There is so much potential for that area, let's hope they utilise it accordingly, regardless of what they do.

  6. Was just looking at the 'NBGS International' website. At "Taman Desa Water Park" in Malaysia, they have or had (can't seem to find a current or active website) a 'family blaster' which from the pictures looks exactly the same as a mammoth ride, just with the master blaster technology. This would be a great addition to the DWWP!!! A mammoth-styled ride PLUS a master blaster all rolled into one??? WOW!

  7. Couldn't agree more Gazza. Master Blaster and an enclosed Mammoth have my vote too!!! I'm really looking forward to finding out the lineup for the park, and with the 'gaurantee' of unique ride types I can't help but wonder off into a dream-world (pardon the pun) of all the possibilities. With April quickly coming to a close, surely it won't be too long before the ride selection is public knowledge? Regardless, excitement is building with every day that passes.

  8. Wow, that all sounds really exciting. I can't wait to see what Dreamworld does with the area. I hope that theme it well...fingers crossed. Is the possibility of intertwined slides with the cyclone perhaps a reason why it wasn't themed terribly well in the first place???
