  1. I filmed SDSC with a video camera. Even though i knew there was a camera inside it still didn't put me off.
  2. Sorry my post didn't sound what i meant. I was trying to say, To have an open mind about the ride. The phrase i used is a phrase that i use all the time.
  3. Never judge a book by it's cover. I've also heard bad reviews but I'm still going to ride it so i can have my own views.
  4. DIVE'N'MOVIES RETURN FOR SUMMER! Why not turn a day at Wet'n'Wild into a night out at the movies. Dive in movie schedule EDIT : Yes skeetafly another "copy and paste"
  5. Thanks for posting that. My cousin is due to visit 8-15 Feb. I'll now tell him to wait. At least it'll be open when you visit so you should go for it.
  6. It's just pot luck with Ebay Alex. The other day i got a 25% off an Annual pass for MW and WnW for $0.99 each plus $0.50 postage each with no postcode restrictions. The one i seen was for DW it was a no post code one. It was about $15.
  7. Jump on Ebay. There's always vouchers for sale. Click here This listing ends at 12:30pm today. The item # is 320182447172
  8. Hi there. Welcome aboard. It depends on what your after. If your looking for a huge park then WnW is the go. As it has quite a few slides and a U shaped roller coaster. Plus they also have dive in movies on Saturday nights from about Dec 20th. If your looking at a smaller park or the latest in rides then WWW is the go. It has Australia's 1st hydro coaster and a world 1st 8 lane octopus racer. It also has 2 kids themed areas. Wiggles Bay and Nickelodeon. I'm sorry I'm not much help but I find it difficult to explain things. Personally I'd prefer WWW as it's smaller and the crowds are quite small compared to WnW. Richard, Gazza and everyone else will give you a more detailed opinion. Sorry i can't be much help.
  9. I agree with Richard. The 3 park pass would be your best option. It gives you flexibility for the 10 days you're there. In regards to WnW dive in movies. It starts around Dec 20th and finishes on ANZAC day. During Christmas school holidays it's on every night. But outside those times it's every Saturday night.
  10. Yeah go to DW instead. It's a better park because you only pay $15 for re entry. It has more rides than SW. Plus there's WWW next door. It's better value than SW IMO.
  11. Ok fair enough. I'll be more specific when i post from now on. The reason why i find SW boring. For a start I'm not really an animal person how ever i found the Polar Bears quite fun. Shark bay was pretty good as well. I'm into thrill rides and SW doesn't have that many. As for the shows they are not for me. Now onto Woodies. I find them not very thrilling and boring. They are rough as guts. Especially the one at LPM. I know I'm comparing the ones here in OZ but they are the only ones I've ridden. Hopefully this post is up to standards.
  12. There used to be a mad mouse at LPM. I swore that it would derail one day. Never happened though.
  13. That is total crap. Alex is saying "That my opinion doesn't mean anything" I said that "I found it boring" Yes i should have been more specific but to say. "my best suggestion is to ignore the narrow-minded :woodies suck: type posts made above. Stumpy was asking for opinions/advice and i gave him one. If Alex doesn't like what i said then that's fine. But to say ignore someone isn't very nice. Yes your all going to jump on me for carrying on and swearing. But i found the last bit insulting.

    The Wii

There's a new channel. It's called "Mii contest" It's free.
  15. I found SW really boring and didn't like it that much. I'd say give it a miss but others will say go ahead especially if you haven't been before. But as they say "Each to their own"
  16. If you lived in Darwin it might be cheaper. But from other states no way.
  17. From what I've read so far I'm disappointed. However as the saying goes "You can't judge a book by it's cover" So until I've ridden it I'll reserve my judgment.
  18. ....This is coming from someone who "voted for both" but also someone who has not actually ridden it yet??? Talk about double standards. EDIT : You can't vote for both as well because it wouldn't add to 100%.
