  1. I've been in Moe for the last 2 nites with my new GF. Got back this afternoon. Anyway my cousin bought Carnivale for xmas and it's awesome and very addictive. I just got back from Highpoint and bought the game at Dick Smith for $52.

  2. Went to Jamberoo today which is an awesome park. First ride was the Taipan it was total darkness and almost better than the Terror Canyon. Next was the Tobaggan wasn't that good due to a very slow driver. The 2nd ride was also slow but not as a slow as the 1st driver. The River Rapids is way better that W 'n' W. It even has a wave section. To get there you have to book the Kiama Scenic Tours. It costs $45 inc transfers. The Aqua racer is ok. We went on the rock which totally rocked. Then on some other open slide. All in all i give it 8/10. It's a great day out but the food variety is lacking

  3. ^The idea of those things at the bottom is that you grab a different tube depending on which thing you line up in. I am pretty sure there are signs up as well, but it might have been hard to see in the dark? Cheers for the report though, sounds like a good night. Hopefully, WhiteWater World does then more often.
I had a look today and didn't see any. I might have been blind though LOL. EDIT : Added Gazza's post.
I think both rides have separate pick up points/storage areas for the rafts. For TOH its right beside the stairs and for Rippers its under the orange and purple slide: http://www.parkz.com.au/photo/AU/Gold_Coas...le_Rippers.html I guess it works off the assumption that if you go through the whole queue at ground level you exit the queue right where the pick up point is. There are indeed signs, look closely and you can see two sets of them to the right of the pick up point for the rippers. Did you and Missy Higgins get your rafts from the same place? PS, when are we gonna see your moto coaster review?
Yeah we did. I rode it yesterday and it was awesome. We stood in the front row queue and there was about 7-10 peeps in front of us. The ride slows down which is a bummer but that's DW for ya. Rode it again today but due to an accident it was shut down for about 40mins. The line up was at the top so we pushed into the single rider queue. We also went back to WWW today which got packed later in the day. The TOT was packed as well that's how we got on the moto coaster.
  4. Just a quick run down. The gates open just after 6pm and after getting a locker we headed straight to the Hydro Coaster. We were about 7th in line. The water was cold but it was refreshing. Next was the Green Room the line was a bit longer so about a 20 min wait. We shared a tube with 2 kids as the the life guard said the min weight is 90kgs. Next was the wave pool. For the 1st waves Missy and i were the only ones in it. The water was heated. We then headed to the BRO which was a walk on. Next was the RIP. Line up about 10 mins. It was totally awesome being pitch black and not seeing the turns. Was worth the wait. We then headed over the TOH. This was a little confusing as i had a Yellow tube and Missy had a Blue one. We got to the split area and a sign saying that only the Blue tubes can go on the rippers. I was pissed off as there's no sign at the bottom of the ride. Anyway i went on the snake while Missy went on the ripper. Once again both were a walk on. They had Life guards for every slide which was good. We spent around 30 mins re-riding the TOH. At about 7:30 onwards the park started getting full. The RIP had a wait time of about 25 mins. The life guards on TOH was chopped down to 2. They ended up closing one of the rippers which made the queue line long. All in all it was a great night and well worth the $25. I didn't take any pics as i only had my mobile.

  5. Well i bought the 4th remote yesterday. It came with the silicon glove and a special clip. EDIT : You can now send Virtual Console games to your friends as gifts. Also the photo shop has been updated to 1.1 It now plays MP3's in AAC format only.
