  1. It was so funny, just sat back and laughed while they were all complaining they were sick and wanted to go home. One of them had never been on the claw or the wipeout before so she was saying she was going to kill us for making her feel like that. The Claw does an extra two or three swings now and it feels like there's more g forces on the way down, which is great.
  2. You know its not really fair to say that those of us that prefer www to wnw are bandwagoners, Gazza. Perhaps there are people like me who actually HATE going to wnw simply because you spend more time walking around the park getting from slide to slide and in the que's then you do riding the slides. I go in, walk up to mammoth and get half way up the stairs and I'm already over the slide. We got in 5 re-rides on the green room, 2 on the bro, 3 on the rip, 3 on the hydro coaster, spent half an hour at pipeline plunge all within two hours..try doing THAT at wnw! The Green Room is better then Tornado not only because it has that extra length but it gives a better ride experience and the drop is just so much better. All www needs now for me to be completely happy with it is a lazy river.
  3. Haha my friends did the claw twice and then the wipeout and one of them passed out, the other two were sick for the rest of the day and I just stood back and laughed.
  4. I love how you guys are saying they must be failing because they bring out bargains, god forbid a theme park for offering discounts to it's customers The whole time I was there the park was packed, they even almost reached their capacity by 3:15pm (no less) on one of the days I was there.
  5. There were a lot of people in WWW with the world pass wristband on their wrist, it's a popular choice so I can only imagine that these new prices would encourage more people to WWW. Heaps of people with the 50% discount too.

    The Wii

Super Mario World is awesome, you should def get it It's one of the few games you can actually save hehe.
  8. It's on the corner of Ocean Avenue and Gold Coast highway. Its very close to the beach and the Indy track..you know where Red Rooster is? (the store not the one in Cavil Ave) its like just down the traffic lights there going towards Surfers..you surely can not miss it lol. Very 5 star.
  9. I think WWW is struggling with attendance, which is why they gave MAP members the 50% off annual passes pass but you know I like lining up for up to 20 minutes for a ride and then re riding it and not spending half the day walking to the slide like you do at wnw. WNW is just too big for my liking and www might be smaller and wnw might have more rides but I'd rather ride the green room then the tornado, the bro then the aqua racer and I would definitely take the hydro coaster over any of the mach 5 slides. You also have to remember that many of the public aren't on rollercoaster forums; they might just see www as the better park because of the technology of the slides like the hydro coaster. The line up's are not that bad either. When I went to wnw we waited for 45 minutes for the tornado, we barely waited 20 minutes for the green room on all three days I went to www and the green room is better, longer and bigger then the tornado
  10. We did all the rides but the blue and green huey rides from 1-3:30 and we got a lot of re rides on the rip and green room..friend and I got two rides on the hydro plus a little bit on it before it broke down at the 3rd lift hill but you'll have plenty of time. Just do the hydro first as it is having major major issues with the magnets.
  11. Johnathon Brown wasnt in a good mood that day so no suprise he told you to f off. He refused to be photographed with Batman on Space Shot as well. I do believe I was talking about the NM team..I wouldn't refer to my friends as "you missed them? we went on SE and WWF with them" especially to another forum member who was talking about NM
  12. Haha yes it does. You can actually hear it while you are on the ride going around the TOH slides.
  13. The drop was going all night but they only had one side so the line up got a little too big for my patience. The wipeout was working fine saturday and sunday when we went to www...you could hear it from anywhere in the park. The cyclone has gotten a bit loud as well..it thunders as its going around like the thunderbolt use too.
  14. You missed them? oh my we went on SE with a few of them and WWF, they were screaming like girls over the top hat! and a few of them chickened out on WWF, said they did not like the look of the drop lol. Whimps!
  15. I think you mis understood me..we had 4 in our group altogether..two were second in line behind two other people..we were in the line up and I just happend to look ahead of me and saw our friends so we were like going "excuse me excuse me" to get to them...we weren't really pushing in since the ride holds four any way. The ride op asked us if we were together because she heard a little girl say that we were pushing in and we were like "yeah yeah we're friends" so she put us on the ride before the two people in front of us..I guess mainly because it was easier since the Rip holds four and there was four of us and only two of them. We only took one photo and thats of my friend and I with the plastic lifeguard near bite me..just because it was there lol.
  16. Well not sure what happend with the tot but it was making funky noises as we were rolling back into the station and the ride op mentioned that they might have to close it if it keeps doing it but it was going all night so I guess whatever was wrong with it either wasnt bad enough to close or it got fixed. The wipeout was just a weird thing that happend with the computer they were saying, it didn't send the command to put the platforms down..my friend and I were saying if it wasn't so high up we would've just jumped off and into the water since we were so hot haha. The reptar started going at around 8:30 but the line up was pretty quiet when we went past it..only a handful of "kids" on it. You should have went Spotty, it was a great night. The crowed was actually pretty good and some of the ride ops were more chatty then the usual DW time, either they were fresh ride ops and were just thinking about the pay packet they would have got from SW.
  17. We got to WWW at around 11am, headed straight for the Hydro Coaster but it was broken so we went on the green room which is 10X better then the Tornado at WNW. We went back to teh Hydro Coaster but it was still broken so we went back on the green room. We then headed over to the Rip, we lined up for like 5 minutes if that before we got on..the ride op liked the fact that we had 4 people haha. It was sooo good..we went prettyhigh up on the wall on that first turn, my friend had issues with holding on so almost came crashing into me when we went up on the wall. Coming out we got handed a band by a lady who took our photo which was pretty cool. We then headed over to the Hydro Coaster..still broken so we decided to have lunch and ended up over at the place near the Bro to get some pies & sausage rolls and then went back to bite me where our friends were sitting. We checked out hydro again and it was finally working. It's apretty cool ride, that first drop is great! after we got off we decided to do it again but it had broken down again and they said it was an hour wait and my friends went over to the bro while another friend and I stayed in the hydro line. Five minutes after they left they let us on. My friend and I ended up getting stuck on the third lift hill..it didn't push us up so we just ended up going backwards so we had to sit there andw ait for the lifegaurds to come and get us. It was pretty crap that we didn't get to go back to the front of the line and get another go so we ended up on the green room because the hydro line was so long (it was half way down the path) We went back on the rip and found my friends in the line up so we ended up being last in line to first and got some "stop pusing in" from people and the ride op asked us if we were together and we said yes so she got us to hop in before the people in front of us got in since they only had two people and we had four. We then went into the cave of waves..those waves are awesome but it's so hard controlling the tubes in them, I ended up falling off backwards and did a backflip into the water and hit my head on the bottom because of the force of the wave. We then went back over to the hydro coaster and the line up was down the bottom of the stairs butmy friends hadn't been on it yet so we waited. When we got to the top the ride op recognised my friend and I and pretty much let us sit where we wanted to sit (they put me in the middle the first time and my friend in the back and I'm heavier then her and all day they had been putting the heavier person in the back) and this time we made it all the way through, the whole ride we were going "just make it up just make it up dont stop dont stop" and when we got out the lifegaurd was one of the ones that helped us out when we got stuck so he was like "oh you made it out" and we just laughed. We left WWW at around 5:30 and headed to McDonald's for something to eat before we went to Screamworld. I like WWW better then WNW simply because it's smaller, the rides don't have huge towers..its not an effort to walk up them for someone who has heart problems and asthma and you can re-ride them all day without much of a line up.
  18. We got to DW just after 6:30 and headed towards the tot, we only waited 5 minutes for that before we got on but the pod didn't make it past the tunnel bit on the way back and was struggling to get itself all the way back for some reason. We then headed to the Claw which was again only a 5 minute wait, the "music" was nothing but a beat being repeated and it kind of sucked. The ride was good though, the ride op told us "this is screamworld so lets hear you scream" which we did plenty of. We then headed towards the drop, waited about half an hour as they only had one side working. The tot ended up coming up as we were almost at the top and I was sitting on the edge where the tot track is so my seat was shaking pretty badly. We headed towards nightmares freezer but the line up was over half an hour so we skipped it and headed back towards the Claw but they were sending it on empty so we went to the Cyclone instead and only waited 5 minutes, after we got there a whole heap of people came running up and by the time we were going through the que line was on level 3. We then did the wipeout which had a huge line up but the ride up ended up sending us around twice because the platform you use to get off wouldn't come out so he sent us around again, which made me feel soo sick afterwards I pretty much didn't go on any rides after that except the bumber cars. It was a great night though, lines were pretty short which was great and it was quite warm there with all of the lights on and stuff.
  19. We got to dreamworld just after 10, after walking through the map area we headed for the lockers and then went down to the Claw. There was only 3 other people queing so we only had to wait for the current ride to finish before we got on. They must have extended the ride cycle because we did two extra giant swings and it went for an extra 20 or so seconds. We then went down through Gold Rush Country and decided to go on Thunder River since the line up wasn't so bad. We were watching people come off and they weren't really wet at all. The ride was quite tame to what it usually is this time of year, not much of a thrill..we got a bit wet down our back which ended up wetting our bottom but it wasn't as much as we wanted. They have boarded up Eureka and added some tables and stuff there so you can sit down as well. We went over to the log ride, the line up was pretty short but as we got there a lot of people came but they were letting us go two at a time so I guess it wasn't really that bad. My friend ended up getting totally drenched on her bottom half though while only half of my right leg was wet. We then went to have lunch at Billabong, it's damn nice in there and the air con was a welcome relief. The pricing is great, $20 for adults and $16 for kids or $16 for adult with the MAP and we ended up getting a good $20 discount for the four of us. The food was good too but we ended up having like three Asian tourist groups come in and it just got pretty noisy in there. Wonderful service though, if you haven't been in there I highly suggest it. The park wasn't really packed and most of the rides were short, the drop was only working the west side but the line up wasn't that bad when we went past. We never got on any of the other rides because we ended up going over to WWW to get our passes and spent about 20 or so minutes in there before we decided to just head back to the hotel since we're going to WWW tomorrow before we head to Screamworld.
  20. Yeah they had 4 seats on each side (SE & entrance side) and the maximum we waited was 20 minutes. we went on it at around 3pmish and it sorta broke down; they run a few empty test runs and the maintenance guys were there watching for a few cycles. I think BW is 10X better then the Drop...I had my arms up the whole time and came soo far out of my seat and the view oh my goodness! if you go on the entrance side you can see right down to Dreamworld and beyond. It was so awesome. The countdown should be random though. Batman hurt my arm as we came off though, the characters were walking towards the ride as we were coming off and he grabbed my arm unexpecedly and asked how I was doing. The North Melbourne AFL team was there too and the park had a lot of people in it. Line ride times were good though so can't complain. We got there at 1pm and got two rides on SE, 2 on BW, one on Lethal, on on Scooby and one on wwf.
  21. I'm afraid I won't be able to attend www/sw with you guys, my friend's dad doesn't like the thought of her hanging out with people he has never met, which is a major bummer. Have fun though, might see you around...if you see a shrimp it could very well be me haha.
  22. But no one said that 10 HAD to lose Big Brother, they could still move BB and still be filmed by 10 lol.
  23. I hope its open when I go to MW on saturday
  24. That same person filmed the subway stuff too..I was watching the video of that a few days before you posted this Patteboi but he doesn't have it listed no more. It's not hard to get a mobile on rides these days, especially the really thin one's. I've taken my phone on the claw and Cyclone in my pocket, it had no zip or button but was kept in my pocket by the harness'. I got to the first drop on the cyclone when I realised my phone was in my pocket and kept praying it didn't come out during the whole ride.
  25. Yeah, it doesnt start until 6:30, we can leave www at 4/4:30 or something..eat the food in sw line or something.
