  1. It matters so much because SE is a good ride and I guess he likes re re-riding it?? why are people so cut about Eureka being closed if they've been on it so much before? At least you have a late flight so you can go on it the day it opens, if they stick to their dates.
  2. Noo close it on Feb 11th instead looks like LW will be packed.
  3. Interesting, never heard of that and I was always on the toy department. Was it a lot of fun? apparently my brother remembers it from when he was a kid which was 11 years before me so thats probably why I don't know it lol.
  4. From what I've read, the green room is bigger and the funnel is longer. It might not be a "big difference" but that still technically makes the green room better then tornado if going by certain members "bigger and longer is better" thoughts.
  5. And the parade..most of the rides are deserted when the parade is on.
  6. Maybe they mean that the safety people have told them it has to be closed and DW just didn't know there was something wrong with it.
  7. I'd rather ride TOT 1000 times then go on batman adventure once! It's so bloody boring and kinda rough and you should check WWF more closely for chewing gum. I'd rather spend a week at dreamworld then 2 days at movieworld because movieworld is so boring.
  8. The one at WWW is better then the one at wnw though so it's not the same ride.
  9. I think around 12-3 is the worst time to go on it because not only is it the hottest time of the day but everyone just hangs around in that area after lunch.
  10. Just so you know, it's WWF (Wild West Falls) not WWW. The line up moves fast because it seats 6 people and the flumes come in every 15-20 seconds. I went during Schoolies and it was pretty busy (line up out the second door) but we only waited 20 minutes if that
  11. Was that on the roof or actually in the toy department? we use to go to the toy department and ride the train for hours. Don't remember one being on the roof of Myers though (if thats what you meant)

    The Wii

Bowling and Baseball and for non wii it's Donkey Kong Country 1 at the moment. We just got Mario Bros from the NES from the wii shop, man has graphics changed!
  13. The kids we had at Adventure Park when I went were soo crazy, the teachers were sitting down chatting away to each other, having cuppas and eating ice cream (well trying to eat it before it melted) and you had all of these school kids not only go straight for the water slides but they were like "oi mate come join me in the que over here!" They ended up having three and four operators at the que line, two were getting the rafts as they came out of the slides and the other two were keeping an eye on the que line and kept kicking the kids to the back of the line when they pushed in; even if they were joining mates. A lot of the kids argued "but they were keeping my place" but they sent them to the back of the line lol. My kind of ride op! DW is the worst one for school kids. On my last trip there we had a group of four school kids tell us that they were better than us and deserved to go on the claw before us because they appreciated the ride more than us but couldn't even tell us how fast it goes
  14. Lol Tony..you had no choice but to finish the ride though. Been on LW when it's raining, they had it open this one time and it had been raining for about 10 minutes but it sorta stopped (which is why they re-opened it) but it started up again as we were taking off and it was getting pretty heavy by the time we were off the lift hill..nothing like going through a corkscrew with the rain beating down on your legs and face at such an angle it hurts more then your ears did. The ride ops were laughing their butts off, my friend said to one of them "how about you ride it and see how you go?" and he just said he wasn't stupid enough..had to agree with him lol.
  15. My friend rented a car from budget when she was 20 and the only insurance she had to give was a $300 deposit. That was in 2004 though, not sure if it's the same now but good luck If you are flying Virgin though go with Europecar (not sure if they rent to under 25's), you get a discount if you show you're boarding pass.
  16. I would actually rather pay the $52 for Melbourne instead of Sydney (if Melb cost that much). I only go on like 3 rides at Sydney lol. Does WWW really have a burger called a barfburger?
  17. Well there's nothing at Adventure Park so the kids can keep it in my opinion.
  18. Isn't there a certificate in the Office at DW from some theme park award thing that says the tot is the fastest and all that? I'm sure I saw it when you had to go in there to get you max pass done..and 100mph is actually 160kmph does the tot even go that fast? You know it'll be easy for Dreamworld to say on their site "Cyclone is Australia's first looping coaster" just because it's on the site doesn't make it true
  19. I don't care about either title. With the world first you'll just have some park in the States come up with something better in 6-12 months any way and with Australian firsts, although they are nice to have it'll only be a matter of time before the other park has something similar or something better. I just want a ride that is thrilling, (or)fun and something you'd go "I gotta ride that again" titles are just titles, they don't really make the ride anything more than what it is.
  20. Unless you drive then you've wasted fuel but it would have been quicker to just go there and suss it out hehe. Hoping the crowds are not that bad when I go next month.
  21. That is a good way to put it gogoboy! I think for the rides and technology you are getting its worth it especially if you can not afford to go o/s.
  22. Actually the line moves pretty quickly with the Whirly Wheels because there's a raft coming out every 5 seconds, takes 10-15 seconds to walk to que line and hand over the tube. We only waited 20 minutes for Tornado and the line up was pretty far back from the que house. Waited longer for the black hole.
  23. The Animatronics haven't worked for well over a year and half and possibly longer. The ONLY reason there is a huge line up 90% of the time is because they take in people once every 20-odd minutes.. You'll find Looney Tunes Cartoons on the kids networks like Cartoon Network and/or Boomerang (which is owned by Cartoon Network), in fact Boomerang had three specials on Bugs Bunny the past week and Looney Tunes airs at like 11pm or something. MW also have them screening on their big screen. There's always a kid or two (and some big kids) standing in the middle of the street watching it. They need to change it though, its always the Opera episode when I go there. I don't want them to change it as it's fine the way it is, just needs those animatronics fixed.
  24. Painted concrete with some bricks in between more like it. Thanks for posting the pics Myk, can't wait to go in Feb. It's going to be interesting to see what new slide(s) www will introduce into their line up next.
