  1. I'm trying to find the Taiwanese parks now. Janfusun Fancyworld (with their B&Ms) and Discovery World (with the Vekoma tiltcoaster). Very difficult to find, because maps what-so-ever to be found of the locations.
  2. The photos are the same as Google Maps...it's just a program to view the world in 3D, as a globe, whereas maps just shows you the aerial photos. Some I have looked up  : AUSTRALIA Dreamworld Sea World Warner Bros. 3. The quality of the Australian park is much higher than in Spain. Compare Rio Bravo with Wild West Falls. http://www.coasterforce.com/Madrid/Dscf0176.jpg vs http://www.roller-coaster.com.au/gallery/w...wf-wbmw/011.jpg http://www.coasterforce.com/Madrid/Dscf0170.jpg vs. http://www.roller-coaster.com.au/gallery/w...wf-wbmw/005.jpg
  4. It's almost finished Those Japanese are so fast at building this ride. We need them in Paris.
  5. I once read he once rented the whole park when in Germany...and he like it so much he paid the parks "mine train project". Hence the "Michael Jackson Thrill Ride". About the inverted, think Nemesis.
  6. Indeed. And only a 3 hour drive for me.
  7. Ok, here goes: 1/ The ride has 2 "real inversions" (a sidewinder and a corkscrew) and one overbanked turn, named the "tongue". 2/ There are two stations, to increase capacity, but only 1 coaster.
  8. http://www.onride.de/viewtopic.php?t=10196...sc&start=400&-1 More photos. ALOT of fresh, warm colors around the entrance area. More color and new characters in the kid's area and preparations everywhere, for the opening tomorrow. Expect tons of photos and videos this weekend !

  10. The ride sounds the same as it was here in Germany, except for the last scene, which was a submarine from Das Boot. The volunteers were mechanics and captain in the submarine for one scene, then two others stood on the "look out" on top of the submarine, during a big storm, alot of water and wind.

  12. WTF ? It's more like selling/removing your old headphones to get some new ones. Cutting off your ear...you're sick.
  13. Nice to see it being moved to the USA. Australia is getting better and better. I hate Boomerangs, because I hate roughness and I hate going backwards on a coaster. Thank God Disneyland Paris recently opened "Indiana Jones & The Temple of Peril Forwards Again"
  14. I just hope you won't get a flying coaster. They suck. Especially for people who tend to get nauseous on rides going backwards, or in pitch black darkness...because on a flying, you can't see where you're going...you watch the ground, or the air.
  15. You don't have to see it, to point "towards" it.
  16. http://www.efteling-guide.de/videos/lta.wmv An on-ride video of Looney Tunes Adventure dark ride at former Warner Bros. MovieWorld in Germany. It's very unlikely the ride will reopen with Looney Tunes next season. So enjoy it in Australia, it's a worldwide unique ride again !
  17. Well, they have Bermuda Triangle (more or less the same as in your SeaWorld) and a rapids ride with a Neverending Story theme. I'm sure they will find some good movies to have at the park. Other companies enough: Miramax, Sony, Fox, New Line, Touchstone, etc.
  18. Goodbye Looney Tunes Goodbye Batman Goodbye Tom & Jerry The park will be renamed "Movie Park Germany" and it will feature a huge amount of changes worth € 10 million: - Gotham City and Marienhof areas will be rethemed - Looney Tunes land will be rethemed (new name -> Wonderland) - Batman simulator will be rethemed - Marvin 4D film will be replaced - some rides will get a name not related to movies (Eraser -> FX) - the Looney Tunes Adventure and the river rapids will be updated - the Studio Tour will be updated - the park will become greener - more movie props will arrive - in 2006 a new major ride - etc. The park has many WB rides such as the Lethal Weapon, Eraser and Wild Wild West coasters, The Wild Bunch freefall tower, shows and parades featuring WB & DC characters, etc. etc. http://www.coastersandmore.de/rides/palamo...nmain_eng.shtml
  19. The Spanish ride lacks scenery and a decent paintjob.
  20. Every single photo of that ride gets me drooling. And the fact it's already 6 years all just amazes me. A truely magnificent, very well maintained ride !
  21. Parks are closed down under ? At least low-season ? Anyway, enjoy this video of the German WB park...which is currently being restored to it's former glory, thanks to Palamon Capital Partners, the new owner of the former "Six Flags European Division", now named "Star Parks". The future of the licensed characters and themes still is uncertain, but the park WILL get a major rehab and will be "modernised" heavily. First signs of this are a dueling Lethal Weapon and a fixed top-spin (which was closed for a long long time). http://www.thrillriders.nl/wbmwg.wmv (right click - save target as)
  22. I thought the ride would be the "big one", not the small Drayton version.
  23. I know 3. Both the Aussie and German Looney Tunes rides and the new Journey to Atlantis at SeaWorld San Diego. Some indoor pictures of the German ride: http://www.wbmwguide.com/looney_tunes_adventure.htm
  24. So you like the first woodie ? Which is at Movie World ! A modern park !
