I also have fond memories of the old pier during the 1960s! My great aunt Jessie Green owned the stall with the clowns which you would place ping pong balls into thier mouths. I would ride for free all day as all the operators new each other on such a small pier. The last time I visited in easter 1975 my aunt and partner were still there working in thier late 70s. I wonder if anyone would have any memory of Jessie and Queenie as she was known? Thanks for jogging my memory K.
