  1. One thing to keep in mind, they are spending $20 million, TWENTY MILLION! You could do a ton with that money, a super 8 type racing slide costs just $2 million. I would imagine the new water playground might cost a million or so, but i have got a feeling there is going to be a ton of fibreglass turning up at WnwW, maybe the eqivalent of 10 super 8 slides if they spend it all that way.
  2. Oh, i forgot that one, but thats not really a mammoth ride, it would be more likley for an extreme slide like that to go with the twister.
  3. Id agree with Daniel, there are just a few sickos about who do that kind of stuff, i dont think ordinary people just start torturing little kittens because an attraction they only visited a few times a year has shut.
  4. Not sure, but they said "Thanks to WLS" in the end credits, so they must have had some sort of involvement.
  5. Because unreliablity and low capacity are two qualities that a 4D coaster has. Hence it would add to DWs problems.
  6. I reckon it would be bermuda because you sit side by side and its in the dark, the transport rides are also a possiblity.
  7. What prototype is this? The only 2 things they reall have that havent been done by WnW is the 'pinball' slide mentioned on the completed projects page, and the whirlpool element on their inflatable raft slide.
  8. Come on bussy, who do you take me for? I am a bit of a dreamer when it comes to parks, but not that much when it comes to a WL reopening.
  9. Yeah, that is a bit dumb that it isnt on the B&M, they invented it.
  10. Well how did the original post make me sound dumb? maybe it the last sentence had no been posted by me it could have been less confusing, i just stuck that on because somebody always has to have a bitch about second hand rides being bad and that they dont want to see it anywhere else.
  11. They are based in Coffs Habour. http://www.waterslide.net/
  12. Why is it people complain about DW having too frequent breakdowns and low capacity, then they want DW to get a 4D, your'e all contradicting yoursleves. Personally, i would like to see an B&M inverted coaster, who cares if reptar has the same track position, Eureka and Cyclone have the same track position and nobody complains then. The reason i like the inverted coaster is because its a good workhorse, and many parks have an invert, which means more reliability, they just seem to be a good all around ride that is popular no matter where it is.
  13. Bus: i wouldnt convert it to an observation tower at the current site, last time i checked that was being redevolped, they are trying to sell it remember so if a customer were to buy it, that could be a possible use. Slick: it would be a rising cabin observation tower for which it would be converted to: http://www.ridetrade.com/r_products_towers.htm Daniel: I am, you were just incorrectly influenced by the two posts above me, i thought you were a smarter person than that.
  14. I would have done that, only i dont have RCT3, my computer isnt good enough for it and it seems to be just RCT2 with perspective and 25 FPS.
  15. I think now newer slide technologies are move likely since WNW seem to be freeing themselves of AWL slides and are now buying from larger international manufacturers, for example for the bucaneer bay improvments.
  16. What about that gameshow "Time Masters"
  17. What about for a conversion to an observation tower? now that could be a good use for the ride as it is changing it enough for it not to just be the same old SP.
  18. Could you just move it (the camera) inside the building, or take an onride shot in coastercam.
  19. I think they were working of the assumption that because it is based on the vekoma SLC, it can have zero g rolls.
  20. Well, since WNWSC is starting fresh, the slides would be newer. This new super mammoth falls at WNWGC will probably have some state of the art rides scott. Its not like its really possible to be very unique when it comes to waterparks because there are only a few types of slides and everyone has them anyway, and when manufacturers do bring out new slides they tend to sell pretty quick, take the proslide tornado for example, they have already done like 19 of them and the product has only been out 2 years or so.
  21. What do you mean by zero g rolls being on the wrong coasters?
  22. What was the object of the quicksand game?
  23. Apparently this one is new too (top of page): http://www.roller-coaster.com.au/gallery.php?gid=121
  24. Slick, you cant just use something being old or small as an excuse for not doing a comparison, its like saying its not fair to say that SW is better than Jamberoo just because its bigger. DW and MW are both in competition with each other, so you cant make up for the fact that something may be better than DW by saying something like that its not equal, at the end of the day its still gonna be better isnt it?
  25. I think the conclusion will be easier come september . They seriously need to just bulk up their ride collection a bit to really compete (and beat) hey, im a poet and I didnt know it.
