Yeah. It had turned into Eureka.

Brilliant ad. Maybe they are investing in a good TVC with a thought of perhaps keeping it going if it proves popular enough.
-
I can't wait for the drain problem they intentionally introduce to distract people from the fact it's not actually a new attraction.
-
It's official then. We're getting a B&M!

There's a difference between making a stupid decision & deliberately introducing an unpleasant element to a guest's experience.
-
^ I meant to say I'm doing both. So yeah.
-
Yeah, I'm hitting up Dubai & Abu Dhabi next year. Want to see the UAE anyway but also check out the parks. Looking forward to it.
-
Oh right. They're going to intentionally create something that will put off their guests? Joz, think you have your quote of the month already.

How many times have you been on Superman Escape?

Shame about the flood scene but brilliant they're running two trains, love when they do that. -
Realistically what else could they do for the holidays at this point? They could do the Extreme World thang again, this time on the old Blue Lagoon site. But that'd only mean a couple of spin and spews, nothing to get excited about. Park-wide bush Christmas would be good with Santa and various theming everywhere. Maybe something to consider for next year. I am keeping an open mind on this show. Better this than nothing at all.

^^ Yes. I started programming when I was really little - good ol' GWBASIC then have done QuickBASIC, Visual Basic, Turbo Pascal, C++ etc ... QuickBASIC was THE in-thing in high school lol ^ Where do you live again? There's other areas than programming I'm sure you could help out in. Are you good at drawing/3D modelling and animation, music composing, anything like that?

Just wondering if anyone here has an interest in developing some projects for the iPhone/iPod Touch devices. I'm going to look at purchasing a Macbook Pro in the near future but at the moment my only Apple platform (aside from my iPhone) is a 10.2 iMac G4 & have to get the software reinstalled. My plan is to do some simple-but-fun stuff as we learn and develop an RCT style tycoon game. It would work off a grid that could be toggled off and on. My plan is to utilise the ability to have DLC. That way, we could release the game itself at a low price point like $3-4 then release additional attractions, rides, sideshows etc. We would also look at developing a community around park-sharing, maybe have a voting system where people can nominate favourite parks, best parks for layout, best for thrills, best for theming etc. Awards could then translate into bringing more virtual guests into winning parks & perhaps unlock hidden content. A DLC pack could include the abilty to construct your own coaster track/slides etc. Also, apparently Apple returns 70 cents of the dollar from sales so that's a pretty nice margin. Anyone up for it?

Oh, I thought you meant a Mickey ears-shaped container
-
I wouldn't be surprised if the final room and drop aren't also fixed in the very near future. Good to hear about the main one anyway!

Another WVTP shortcoming. This has been going on for at least a month now.

Do the "higher ups" listen?

reanimated, I see that and raise you: -
No, that doesn't make me hypocritical. I've seen the show once as I wanted to give them some time to get it right. I went in open-minded and came away majorly disappointed.
-
I'm a fan of that ride but have only done the one in California. It must be fantastic to experience when there's random programmes to deal with. It's a shame that Batwing or one side of the Giant Drop doesn't have that.
-
And I was at the show recently and it was substandard then.
-
Favourite dark ride: Haunted Mansion followed by Curse of Darkastle then Corpse-o-Rama, Coney Island Favourite woodie: El Toro followed by Phoenix Favourite steel coaster: Bizarro (SFNE) (though I rode it when it was Superman Ride of Steel) followed by Tatsu.
-
Tch. It's not as if we need any more parks to enjoy.

Seaworld and Wet n Wild to have a Dominos outlet
Gold Coaster replied to DEAP's topic in Theme Park Discussion
You should just move to that suburb and correct the sign! I had a Domino's at Wet'n'Wild a few weeks back. 'Express-2-Go' ... more like 'Wait-4-Ever'... the pizza took 3x the amount of time they said it would and the garlic bread 10 minutes after that... and it was disgusting, even worse than the usual Dominos "standard". Overpriced and just dodgy. Definitely the worst pizza at the parks. Is the pizza you get at the bakery in MW any better? I received an email coupon the other day for $5.50 classic taste pizzas delivered to your home... shows how bad the quality must be!
