Hey guys Just wondering if anyone else saw the Behind the scenes show of Movieworld tonight at 8.30pm, on the discovery channel It wasnt bad, it showed what goes into the training and hand picking of the characters and things like that. Also speaking of tv shows Im wondering if there is a discovery channel show for this year about the lastest thrill rides from around the world.... I have a copy of one that had xcelerator and TTD on it but I was hoping they were going to make more. It was call Extreme Machine thrill rides. Any knowledge of this would be great. Thanks

I wish I had looked at my TV guide and found out this was on, so I missed the first half an hour, but saw the parts about the stunt show and the Scooby Doo Spooky Coaster, etc. For those who also missed this show, it will be on at 4:30am and again at 10:30am tomorrow (15th January). Unfortunately I will be working tomorrow morning and will miss the 10:30am one and I will be sleeping while the 4:30am one is on, so I won't get to see it again. So if someone saw the show in full, could they please tell me what they covered in the first half, thanks.

How can you hate Movie World and yet love Luna Park? Movie World is leaps and bounds ahead of either of the Luna Parks. It doesn't make sense. I am setting my alarm for 10:20am so I wake up in time to watch the 10:30 screening. Sounds like a very interesting show - I have always wanted to know what goes on behind the scenes at WBMW

from what i have gathered in the past, Paul prefers the thrill rides. this is why dreamworld and luna parks and wonderland had its appeal to him. majority of the rides in those parks are whirl till you hurl kind of rides, whereas movie world really only has one ride like that - Lethal Weapon

i slept in that morning, and caught the last 20 minutes. it was interesting to watch, but i would like to see a more in depth documentary. it also ran down to sea world and spent 15 minutes on the polar bears, which, in a film about movie world just made me think they ran out of stuff. i'd like to see a full "behind the scenes" on all the gold coast parks. the intricate workings of all their big rides, as well as the day to day operations... like "American Casino" on discovery on monday nights.. that i would like to see.
