As many of you know, the German and Spanish WB-park belong to Six Flags Europe. They recently built a Sally Interactive Darkride at Six Flags Belgium (a darkride where people have to shoot at moving targets, to get further...the car reacts and spins or shakes...there is smoke, fire, 3D effects, ghosts, etc. etc.) During a visit of the company's president at the park, he answered the question 'Where will the next ride go to ?' He answered: 'Paramount in the USA' and 'Warner Brothers in Germany' Yihaaa, yipee :) A new darkride, finally. This will be the first new darkride since the park's opening in 1996. It will be the 5th darkride in the park (assuming Gremlins stays, which could be going so they can use the building for the new ride) The theme would be related to movies ofcourse, but he could not yet give details. Some pictures of Challenge of Tutankhamon at Six Flags Belgium: The cars/guns (called Ankhinators in this Egyptian themed ride) real6.jpg Scary villains: real5.jpg Great realistic animatronics: real8.jpg Ride review / pictures: http://gettheloop.com/ena/enatut.html

Here are some more photos of the Dark ride from Belgium. http://onride.de/viewtopic.php?t=448 I am very doubtful about that dark ride project. At least when it comes to connecting it with the year 2004. The next big thing for the park is expected to appear in 2006 in order to celebrate 10 years of WBMWG. I presume that in 2004 we will see the arrival of the postponed air diver, which should have debuted in 2003.

Actually, nothing new in 2004. Not even the AirDiver. The next big thing is said to be expected in 2006 with Germany being the host of the worlds championship in soccer. The park chain was sold to a new investor. Rumours say that the park will loose the name "Warner Bros." and simply become "Movie World". This would go along with a complete retheming of rides related to the WB-movies.
