I have moved all our posts relating to ticket pricing to the WhiteWater World pricing discussion topic just because it was getting a bit off-track here. If you wish to discuss the tickets and pricing do so there.
Thank you Richard. I was going to say the other day that it's getting confusing with 2 threads about it. But decided not to.

The PDF map on their website, is that what your talking about? Anyway, It looks really cool. And you can also tell how tiny this park is compared to WnW. Also WnW have increased their capasity by 50%, which mean every waterslide is less than a 15 min wait!!! :D But with WWW they have only got 3 towers each with 2 to 3 slides on them with two kids areas :o !!! Mabey what WWW might be doing is making most of their major slides for teens and above and then having two medium to small kids areas. This will probably lower the waiting times on some of the major rides. Becuse most of their parents have to look after them and some kids don'y want to go on BIG, SCARY rides!! ^_^ Anyway, thankgod they have got the cap. Or else you would be waiting over an 40 mins to ride one slide. CoasterBoy6

Just because it's related to capacity. WWW queue lines may not be 40 minutes long because if anyone read on their Opening Hours & Park Map web page this: IMPORTANT: WhiteWater World visitor numbers are capped to ensure there is no overcrowding. Entry will be on a first come, first served basis. Once the park capacity is reached we cannot permit any further entries. Edited by Jamberoo Fan

Ooh, as much as that makes perfect sense - that's harsh. I guess they could always go straight in to DW if they get rejected from WWW :D . Edited by Swanny

For those after the opening date, it will be on the 8th of December 2006. We were ALL wrong. :) Here's an Article.

http://www.thrillhistory.com/news.php?post=30 White Water World, Macquarie Leisure Trusts latest Water Theme Park is getting ready to open, right next door to Dreamworld. The official opening date was finally announced today, the 14th of November 2006, in a Press Release which states the construction of the park is "Unbelievably ahead of Schedule." Dreamworld Chief Executive Officer Mr Steven Gregg said that "We are extremely excited to report that White Water World will open the doors to guests on Friday the 8th of December, 2006, just in time for the Summer school holiday period".<p> Mr Gregg also said that White Water World has been given the highest efficiency rating possible and has been classed as "one of the most water efficient water parks in the world by the Environmental Resources Management Australia (ERM)." The $60 million development is the first new theme park to grace the Gold Coast in 14 years and will give guests the opportunity to experience Australia’s premier theme parks (Dreamworld and White Water World), which are conveniently located right next door to each other. White Water World will open on the 8th of December 2006, and will cater for people of all ages.

I was at Dreamworld today and they had water running down a variety of rides. The LIM sections on the Rocket Slide have been covered with orange plastic (this question was asked earlier on the forums). Water and high current electricity don't mix too well.
