I just over at thrillhistory.com looking at Sea World's old/new park maps. I noticed that they removed the Thrill Seeker, What was the cause/reason for this removal? ;) If you look at the picture (from the link), you'll notice that there is still a space where Thrill Seeker was. After thrill seeker was removed: http://www.thrillhistory.com/images/galler...w/maps/2006.jpg Before thrill seeker was removed: http://www.thrillhistory.com/images/galler...w/maps/2002.jpg

My best guess is that the ride was too old and noisy. Maintenance issues may have been a contributing factor too. Shark Bay is a million times better.

I think one of the problems was it was just too old. Apparently it never compared to the Corkscrew. Goto love that Headchopper effect with the Monorail Track and the corkscrew elements.
