Is Shrek 4D not in 3D? And is disappointing..

I have seen both other 4D movies at MW, the original live action time travel one and marvin the martian and remember how 3D it was with things popping out at you from the screen. Was looking forward to Shrek 4D a lot but found it wasnt very 3D at all. I took my glasses off several times and found I could watch the movie fine without them when usually in 3D movies if you do this, it will be blurry. I thought I had dodgy glasses but my wife and daughter said the same thing, no popping 3D stuff and also the whole movie didnt even seem to be in 3D. Is it just me or is this how it is?? If so why?? I always enjoy 3D movies.. and I was disappointed with Shrek 4D.

Every time that I've seen the movie it has been in 3D. And I've seen it MANY times... Haha! Multiple times, each time I've been at the park. I love it! Maybe the day you saw it, they were having projector technical problems. If one project isnt going you can't get the 3D effect.

Hey that's really dissappointing to hear! Sounds like one of the 2 projectors wasn't working. Trouble is, MW did away with a full time Theatre Projectionist years ago, nowadays if such problems occur the guests are now usually the first to know. Well I hope someone had the forsythe to report the problem straight away. Shrek is one of MW's top attractions and is a truly world class 3D show

It seems obvious that something went wrong with one of the projectors; Shrek 4D is without a doubt one of the best shows doing the rounds these days in terms of 3D effects. It also seems logical that they go ahead as usual with the show using a single projector because there's really nothing else they can do short of pointlessly shutting down the entire attraction and disappointing all the guests. With Shrek 4D they upgraded to digital projectors, so I wouldn't think that the lack of a projectionist would have made any difference to the problem at hand. The park's regular tech services team would be able to handle all but the most technical of problems, which would have even a qualified projectionist calling the manufacturer for specialised assistance. I think it goes without saying that the park was well aware of the problem. If the average parkgoer can tell there's a problem, there's little doubt that those charged with operating the attraction were aware of it and onto it.
