Theme Parks and Weather

heading to australia next week. The forecast for the 10 days that we are there is rain! Every single day according to the 28 day forecast website. That is so annoying. Anyway, just wondering what usually the best idea to do in terms of the theme parks when its raining? When do rides stop operating? Is it when theres heavy rain or will they stop the coasters as soon as there a spit of rain? Any ideas on a plan of attack? When they say scattered rain and scattered thunderstorms, what do they actually mean? I mean over here in NZ, when it rains, it pours! But some people say, when they say its raining at the Gold Coast, its probably a sunny day with the odd drizzle...

when i was down there last which was last year it rained but most of the heavy stuff seems to happen of a night of the day its usually just light drizzle. If your only up there for a certain amount of time id recommend if your going to a park on a rainy day go to one you can go back to e.e if you have like a 2 week pass or something etc. and wait until theres good weather to go to a park you only get to go to once

TOT and Superman are the only dry weather rides, everything else runs in the rain. Only high winds and thunderstorms will shut everything. If it does rain, go on the indoor rides, see shows, or go on the water rides. If there is a decent break in the rain then rush to the weather sensitive rides. When it comes down to it, you've got 10 days there, so the odds of not being able to everything you want to are very low, just stop stressing (Two threads worrying about the rain is a bit much, you just cant control it)and have a good time.
