Richard 1,038
Easy guys. Let's cut down on the personal insults and condescending attitude. At the very least one of you could have answered the original poster's question like mattcrombie did. A friendly and helpful attitude is expected at all times. You aren't expected to like everyone, but you are expected to treat all members with respect at all times.

djsupersleuth 0
Hello I Was Just Woundering i live Near Dreamworld And How Can I Pick Up Dreamworld Radio On My Radio?? Are you talking about the inter park communications radio or the music you hear when you walk around the park? Either way you do not have much chance - the comms radios would operate on a fixed frequency that Dreamworld have the licence to operate on and as said by Mattcrombie the park music would run from a CD. AlexB 5,467
It does sound like radio though... and thats the entire plan. Kmart have Kmart Radio. Fone Zone have fone zone fm. franklins have franklins radio. Its to try and sound cool. In reality its just a way to advertise their products and services while sounding like a broadcast. BNErider 95
Kmart Radio is handeled by Retail Radio in Aspley. It's a live broadcast done via their internal studios. I had a look around not too long ago. It's pretty good. They do the broadcast up to about 9-10 o'clock.
skystar_a320 0
I know Woolies/Safeway/Big W use Sattelite radio broadcast from Sydney. They also do 'live' WoW TV, with CEO and High End Managers talking to Store Managers and Section Managers in meetings in the stores and stuff, same thing Sattelite from SYD. I also find it funny in Kmart and now BUNNINGS! that you hear 'Security to section 3, security' spoken in the most polite manner! AKA - Pre Recorded in a Studio!! all a Scare Tactic.. You can tell the 'real' security calls.... ' SEEEECURRIIIITYY Section Threeeeee SEEEECURRRITYYY' (yelled) Edited February 2, 2008 by skystar_a320
Original 110
I am involved with IGA and they have the same system as other retailers, we have the sound system then a team comes in and puts a satellite on the roof and hooks it up to the amp, very much like Austar, it then plays all the latest music, but instead of ads from other companies we have our ads of weekly specials, community chest and how were local heros!!! I think if remember rightly, correct me if i'm wrong its subconcious advertising, were advertising, but the averge person doesn't realise it and just goes into their brain!!! Dreamworld do the same thing, with ads and that, but yes its a CD!!! I imagine its similar to wet'n'wild's which i hav seen, its clearly visible at guest relations, although its refurbished, one cd player with one hell of a lot of amp's. Also if you something like dreamworld radio listen to Sea fm they are the ones that give them the music!!! I assume this since they dreamworld radio, brought to you by sea fm!!! want wet'n'wild just listen to B105!!! Also if you have noticed each section has different music, Flowrider has different music to ocean parade, ocean parade is different to main entry, main entry is different to Gold rush, and gold rush is differnt Nickelodean and nikelodean is different to Wiggles World!!! So when you say dreamworld radio, which area? Also I much prefer wet'n'wild's music to dreamworld, they play newer stuff!!!! Just me though!!!

Gazza 2,265
I like nick world music Are you related to kid? On the topic of park music, I really wish I could get some of the music played in Marvel Super Hero Island, that was surprisingly cool music. djsupersleuth 0
Funny how any link to youtube leads you to spend 15 minutes sidetracked looking at other vids!

MayfairProductions 20
I like mainstream music What type of songs do they play in dreamworld? Alot of there music is updated very slowly. I remembered when i went last year they were still playing music from 2 years before. But that may have changed now. To answer your Q though Its mainly Mainstream. Lol i love it at wet n wild they always have Cher - If i can turn back time. My family were al lsinging to it, i sank away slowly into the water trying not to get noticed
cerberus584 0
Yeah I like Radio H20...They have the right balance between new and old...but sometimes the frequency of some songs is way to high. Like that Britney one...ouch!
Gazza 2,265
Personally I have a preference for parks to play atmospheric music rather than anything you hear on the radio. Helps make the place a bit more escapist. Edited March 29, 2008 by Gazza
