Was anyone on here able to do Disney Quest when it existed at Disney Springs? I was going to do it when I was in America however it never just seemed to interest me but seeing it's now closed it will be interesting to see if anyone on here did it

Disney Quest, from what I have seen of it, was like our own Sega World fed super steroids - it was essentially a giant arcade, littered with games, left, right and centre. It had some rare games in it as well - including a replica of Fix it Felix Jr, a 16 player Daytona setup (that got replaced with a Nascar game in Disneyquest's last couple of years) and a one-of-a-kind arcade port of the Cars 2 video game. However, the main attractions appeared to age quite poorly - the video cameras on one of the rides shot in an extremely poor resolution, and the graphics looked extremely outdated on the Pirates of the Caribbean game.

Think something like Timezone in Surfers Paradise or the old Sega World, but fed steroids.

This reminds me of the time that staff member at superman told me that DC Rivals would be a marvel coaster. They won't change the theme

Whilst I speak with no inside knowledge, I can comfortably state the likelihood for the SDSC receiving a complete re-theme is exponentially higher than what the chances of Rivals being a Marvel Coaster was

I doubt they would want to, or have the time to re theme the whole ride. The ride is closed for 7 weeks, and highly doubt that there would be enough time to remove all of the Scooby Doo theming, and then reinstalled new theming. And the ride is very popular and iconic for the park,  not just for the experience, but the SD theming really adds to it. When they reinstall the theming, if they have just replaced it, I'll be quite happy with that, but if they've taken the opportunity to upgrade it and enhance the experience, that will be even better.

Since this is the off topic topic, I thought I'd share something. Today we were learning about Energy in Science, and there was some video we watched detailing types of energy associated with roller coasters (gravitational potential etc.) and B&M stand up coaster Green Lantern at SFGA was used as an example. All my classmates were in ore at the sight of a coaster. Kind of funny actually because kids were saying tallest, fastest etc roller coaster in the world. I told them the world's tallest roller coaster kinda Ka was there. Then rambled on about what elements there were in gl, what manufacturer, how it was chang at kentucky Kingdom, how and when Kingda Ka became. They all looked like zombies. Mind you my teacher was impressed.

Back in my school days, a group of students studying physics got to go to DW and where a specialised jacket, which recorded speeds and forces, while they went on the rides. And they used that data for analysis and study.

My school still does that. I guess it makes students more enthusiastic about learning this stuff?
