Just a bit of food for thought.

You put your stuff in a locker. That's all loose items, including your wallet, to go on Superman.

Let's say the queue is really long and it's just over an hour later when you return to the locker.

How do you get the  $2 to pay for extra time?

As they do now for people that exceed the wait time, they permit them to open the locker and escort them to the nearest shop to pay for it.

But that said, if the queue exceeds an hour, I would assume (and i think it's been the case in the past) that they override the locker time.

That would make perfect sense and sounds very reasonable.

Just a little Tid-bit of info that’s not really news as such...

currently at the Studio Village Xmas Carols that are run in the MW overflow Carpark/grassed area, and have been held here for near on 2 decades.

They just announced that this is the final year the Carols will be located here, as next year MW is expanding and the space will no longer be available.

I believe this is the site earmarked for the hotel, so whether that’s going ahead or it’s a case of the Carpark expanding and this area being asphalted I’m not sure.

When was the last time something lasted in that theatre for more than 6 months

With the exception of the seasonal films run at Christmas time - always.

  1. Adventures in the fourth dimension ran for 7 years from 1991-1997
  2. Marvin the Martian ran from 8 years from 1997-2005
  3. Shrek ran for 5 years from 2005-2010
  4. Journey to the Centre of the Earth ran for almost 2 years from 2010-2012
  5. Ice Age for almost 2 years from 2012-2014
  6. Journey 2 ran for 7 months from Feb 2014 to Sept 2014
  7. Rio ran for a year from 2014-2015
  8. Looney Tunes ran from September 2015 to current.

In the midst of these, they also ran:

  1. Polar Express for December 2010 and 2011 (during the Journey run)
  2. Ice Age Christmas in December 2012 (during the Ice Age run, so you could call it an overlay)
    and now...
  3. Rudolph - 2017.

If you weren't referring to the christmas seasonal films, then technically they've also run:

  1. Fool's Gold
  2. Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone
  3. Get Smart
  4. Nim's Island

(All of which were screened only once for the premiere).

They had The Conjuring 2 play last year on the first night of Fright Nights as well as a preview to invited guests.
