Chippy - you're turning every single topic into pure crap. Daniel corrects you on something, and you call him a "d*ick head" (for the fifty billionth time!). If Daniel corrects you on something, take advantage of that and imprint the valuable information on your brain - don't call him over used profanities. Liam

It's actually Hakuna Matata you dolt. I've got nothing to truce about mate. Just stop being an idiot and we'll all be fine. You just get up everyone's nose with your crap. Please, from now on just promise me you'll take the time to read your post before you submit it to make sure it makes sense. I'm honest when I say that three quarters of your posts don't. A Funk and Wagnalls on the old desk would go down a treat. No need to leave me alone, you won't get to me with whatever you say. I've got thicker skin that you old son.

I try not to let roughness bother me, I ride for the forces, turns, thrills ect. And I have ridden in the back seat of bush beast and scenic railway, and the ride wasnt to bad, I didnt hurt myself. Also, why would a circular loop break necks, Bountys Revenge at WL swings in a perfect circle and I dindnt hurt myself, Oh wait the restraints hurt a bit. But anyway I didnt break any bones, And I have been on full revolution rides also like kamakaze at the Shepparton Agricultural Society Show which had good restraints and I didnt hurt myself one bit.

If your talking about this coaster it looks like it's dragged along slowly and that amount of hang time would hurt a bit. http://www.totalthrills.com/forums/album_pic.php?pic_id=95 Lopp-the-loop Coney Island Brooklyn.

Coasters use a clothoid shape for loops these days. It's normally described as an inverted teardrop. To draw the shape, start by drawing a quarter of a circle, then draw half a circle of about half the radius, then draw another quarter like the original. Of course when they're designed, they use parabolic curves and whatnot rather than ciruclar to make it a little smoother. Now, the reason circular loops are iffy is because they don't adjust for the speed of the train. If you designed it big enough to have nice G-forces in the entrance, it won't clear the top because it's too high. If you design it to complete the loop, you can imagine it'll be much smaller and hence significantly higher G-forces. Maybe not break necks, but you are talking probably 7 or 8 G's at least. You'll have more than a few people blacking out.

I already knew about clothoid loops, but now I understand, Because an Inverter ship is powered, It can make it round its revolution. I think the only way we will see a circle loop on a coaster is if its on of those ones with the 3rd Rail like runaway mine train at Alton Towers, But Then again , whats the point of going to the effort when a clothoid loop is fun anyway 8)
