Wedgie time at WhiteWater World (article)

Recommended Posts

A great article from the Gold Coast bulletin - http://www.goldcoast.com.au/article/2010/0...coast-news.html Includes an actual image/schematic of the Wedgie that we haven't seen to date and how it fits in with the Hydrocoaster. Also of note is the reference to the laser show at Dreamworld being a permanent addition. Sea World's upcoming new attraction is also mentioned

Thats some great information. Sounds like Movie World and Dreamworld will be looking at extended trading hours over the next summer. As a Christmas Lights fan I can't wait to see what Movie World do with the main street. With the Wedgie opening in April has anyone been past and noticed any construction going on yet? They are not giving themselves much time.

Is it just me..or are we not getting a looping slide. just because it may have a curve going under another slide it certainly dosnet have the loopage like whitewater wests versions, as thers actually starts looping from the bottom like a loop would(if you get what i mean.) and travel upwards around it...even tho theres is on an a slight angle. However www appears to just take a sharp bend and dips under the hydrocoaster. But will be a fast fun slide anyway.... but dont think it really loops. hello all anyway, havent posted in forever. and was there last monday, constrution/ground work had begun,,, digging under hydrocoaster but thats all as of last monday..but alot could have happend since then.

^It was confirmed earlier that it wasn't going to be a looper after all. Initial information had the model name as being a 'SuperLOOP", so naturally people thought Proslide had come up with something to go against Whitewater Wests 'Aqualoop' slide. Eventually, some further images revealed it was just a downhill spiral. See http://www.parkz.com.au/forums/index.php?s...ost&p=64455 for what went down.
