Well thanks to the help of Dreamworld.com.au i have some new closure times in store from now to the end of June. This is most probably a good thing for dreamworld taking in the fact that they have been doing alot of themeing around the park and might be actually taking some pride in thier big 5 thrill ride's themeing situation. And that log flume needs some maintnence as well. Not really themeing as such, but just some removal of chewing gum would be nice. Okay down to the crucnh, here are all the times in detail: The following rides are going to be closed for maintenance upgrades: The Rapid Ride between 28th January and 30th January inclusive and 26th May and 4th June. The Runaway Reptar Rollercoaster between 16th February and 27th February inclusive. The Cyclone between 9th March and 11th March inclusive. The Tower of Terror between 22nd March and 1st April inclusive. The Log Ride between 27th April and 21st May inclusive. The Cyclone will also be closed for one-day only maintenance upgrades on the following days: 2nd April 2004 26th April 2004 7th June 2004 and 25th June 2004 The Big Brother House and Stadium are now closed to make way for the Big Brother 4 series. And one more thing, I will check with my sister and law at Skyreach to check whether or not any machines are being taken out for paint jobs excetera. Cya!

Most of those sound like annual maintenance (except Cyclone - what's going on with all those closed dates? - and Rocky Hollow, which sounds like it might be getting some TLC, which hopefully doesn't involve painting the ride hideous bright colours and hopefully does involve putting some effects into the tunnels). Just one point as well about the Big '5' Thrill rides: Thunderbolt was one of them, so its now the big 4 thrill rides (not that you'd tell with the advertising slogans still all over the Coast).
