Water Park for Perth

I thought the fibreglass work was pretty smooth ride wise. The bottom of that trap door was pretty rough, but I guess that's so you get a good grip. The wait for that drop was pretty agonising as the door itself feels to give a little before you drop.

Looking at the preview footage you can see that they were working on that area until the last couple of days, and despite what channel 7 says the A in ARC stands for area, not aquarium.

Was at The Maze: Home of Outback Splash, this afternoon. It appears there is good news and bad news re: their expansion. It appears to be confirmed for the 2019/20 season. They might even put in a viewing tower before that, just to give an idea about the height(which seems odd). The staff member who confidently told me this also said they would be taller than the ones at Hillary’s. I reminded her that they no longer existed.

It seems they are doing some work on the aviaries at the moment. Some birds, like Henry, were off display. It was 25 degrees here in Perth, so there were some people enjoying the water playground. The inflatable slide is looking a little worse for wear - that will probably just make it through next season. The park also has a new resident Wombat.

Has anybody been to or given past outback splash recently? I'm pretty sure the stage 3 slide tower is going up now

I haven’t been in a while, but last time I was there they put up an observation tower where the new slide tower is going. Many social media sites also said it was opening this season, when it’s not supposed to be.

They probably get their confusion from The Maze using the term "opening summer 2019"

Visited the Maze/Outback Splash’s Australia Day party, today. The waterpark part was packed. They had a DJ and a costume kangaroo character. There was a big flag above the water playground. The huge scaffolding at the back of the park represents the height of the new slide tower being constructed, this winter. The rest of the park was not as packed and was pleasant to walk around.

Scaffold looks like they're filming the next series of Ninja Warrior there.

As for 'water park for perth' - this is a perth waterpark like dreamworld is a brisbane theme park.

Seeing as people consider Adventure World an action park,

or at least by definition of park members, and the fact that this thread was started before the construction of the water fortress, is the title not fitting? Its literally about a water park that was at the time coming to Perth and is now here.

I was pointing out the distance from "perth" to the park. It's 51.9km between the centre of Perth and Outback Splash. It's 54.9km between the centre of brisbane and Dreamworld (both measured by road on google). I was noting how laughable it would be that anyone would consider Dreamworld to be "in brisbane", yet Outback Splash is considered to be 'in perth'

...and the fact that the thread started before the construction of the water fortress, and since construction is now over, the construction thread should be closed. Someone should probably create a new thread and call it 'outback splash - 2019 general updates and maintenance and construction and anything else i can't be bothered putting into another thread because its Perth and we're special in Perth and if you disagree you're a bully.
