Farewell Dreamworld's Steam Trains

I don't like the fact that the train runs from 11-4. It should operate all day to help people get around the park. When will Dreamworld learn that the park closes at 5pm not 4! On my last visit I boarded the proper steam train at AWE and we were all forced off it at Main Street because it was after 4pm!

It and Vintage Cars are now weekend operation only, but to their credit, the railway closure was supposed to be for line maintenance before the new loco arrived. Who knows if weekday operation will return with the new loco.

The way I understand it, it is now operating on weekdays... Has anyone seen it in person yet?

The train was operating today with 3 carriages attached. Hours were 11-4pm.

It's disheartening to hear that the Vintage Cars and such replacement train(s) would only be operating on weekends - in fact if that's the case that really sucks.

Glad to hear reports of some DW train operating (some?) weekdays (@ least Fri 25 Oct 11am-4pm).

Will find out ourselves next Tues & Thursday.
