Featherdale Wildlife Park - part of Warner Village?

Recommended Posts

So in my hunting for Wet N Wild Sydney's liquor licence today, I stumbled upon this:

https://www.google.com.au/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=9&ved=0CFEQFjAI&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.blacktown.nsw.gov.au%2Ffiles%2F5a5f9ca8-90ac-40db-b9f6-a25900dea858%2FOperational_Plan.pdf&ei=sYbDUum7NcXmkgXys4D4Bg&usg=AFQjCNGaCXKNXb21oF5OdDfLfXpLUM_p7Q&bvm=bv.58187178,d.dGI&cad=rja

In particular, I found this interesting (page 41):

Engagement was undertaken with the marketing manager of Wet 'n' Wild and Featherdale marketing manager regarding the future direction of Featherdale (new owners).
I know this is a bit of a stretch, but this seems to imply either VRTP have acquired featherdale, or alternatively that it has at the least changed hands and is looking to change direction.
Both parks are in close proximity, and Featherdale could very easily become the Paradise Country for Sydney as they look to expand...
May not be much if anything to it, and the document is dated June 2013 so it isn't anything 'new' but it is curious...

Sounds like maybe this is just a partnership for marketing purposes only. The wildlife park's new owners as of June are Moss Capital.

Moss buys Featherdale Wildlife Park

Sydney wildlife attraction Featherdale Wildlife Park has been snapped up by boutique investment house Moss Capital in a deal understood to be worth about $15 million.
