For those members in Melbourne , there has arisen a great opportunity to do a backstage tour of the inner workings of the historical buildings and rides of Luna Park Melbourne.

Positions on the tours are extremely limited and places will be allotted by ballot.

What's Open: The Scenic Railway motor room, the heritage listed Scenic Railway maintenance shed, the Carousel and Carousel motor room, the Ghost Train

Frequency Of Tours: Organised, 10 people per tour, 3 tours will run at a time beginning at 10am and 11am.

  1. Ballot Registration

    Due to the limited number of spaces available on select tours during Open House Melbourne, registrations will be taken for this building.

    Each person who enters their details has a chance to go on their selected tour as the places will be allocated via a ballot system (random draw).

    You have until 5pm Friday 18 July to enter your name in the ballot, and successful entrants will notified via email by July 20. This email will be your 'ticket' for the tour, and you must bring this with you on the day.

This would be a fantastic opportunity to see the inner workings of some of Australia's greatest historical amusement park pieces. I for one would love the opportunity- hopefully someone on these boards can attend and get some great pics for the site!!
