Rode the new Kraken Racer last weekend. Really good addition to the park! The enclosed tube section is my favourite part of the slide, as you get some really strong ejector air when riding the blue and green tubes. Surprisingly thrilling. And then another (smaller) airtime moment when you come out of the enclosed tube, and down the final hill into the run-out lanes.

Out of the three types of racer slides I’ve been on (B.R.O. at White Water World, the Aqua Racer at Wet’n’Wild and Adventure Park, and now this), I’d say the Kraken feels like the fastest of the three. It’s got speed all the way from the beginning to end; it never lets up. Because of the speed, it is a very short ride (approx. 10 secs). Which is a bit of a con, but that's expected from a racer type slide. Didn't wait more than a couple minutes to ride the slide....capacity is high because of the short ride time. Very re-ride able

The Typhoon (Proslide Bowl) is still my favourite slide at the park, but this one is a close second. If you live in Melbourne, it's worth heading down to ride.
