Wil_i_am_not 135 Report post Posted July 16, 2015 Hi All!What would your dream coaster or ride be? It has to be 100% original so no copies of pre-existing rides (Falcon's Fury, B&M Hyper etc.). They can be whatever you make of it and have as many unique elements/doodads that you want it to. I'll start off, I'd have a drop tower that could revolve upside down like a Kamikaze/Ranger. It can drop upside down and right side up. Look forward to see where we go with this!

downunder196 48 Report post Posted July 18, 2015 I'm not saying this is my dream but I always thought putting X2 trains on TOTs track would be pretty cool. They're both made by the same company too.
BigKev 41 Report post Posted July 18, 2015 MDMC with a few more bends for mine.

downunder196 48 Report post Posted July 19, 2015 Which company is that?Apologies, don't know what I was thinking there. Putting X2 trains on an air launch coaster in the figuration of the TOT track. So the trains could roll at the top of the tower. They're both made by S&S. Not too sure I'd like to see Zac Spin trains on TOT though

AUSTHEMEPARKS 14 Report post Posted July 19, 2015 Wow, never knew that spinning coaster at Joypolis had an inversion.
AlexB 3,441 Report post Posted July 21, 2015 They're both made by S&S. Forgive my ignorance...Besides the X2 train - what other part of those rides (TOTII, X2, Zacspin) is made by S&S?
Zanstabar 241 Report post Posted July 21, 2015 Forgive my ignorance...Besides the X2 train - what other part of those rides (TOTII, X2, Zacspin) is made by S&S?I think he meant having the S&S 4th Dimension trains on the S&S Air Powered Coaster, which would be in an L configuration akin to the Tower of Terror
Gazza 1,264 Report post Posted July 21, 2015 So, one idea I've had bouncing around is super duper expensive, but basically a robocoaster type ride with full 8/12 seater cars, high speed lifts/ free falls, tilting track sections, and a collosal show building with large sets and screens, basically to really give a sense of being tossed about and totally immersed. Ashley 83 Report post Posted July 21, 2015 A wild mouse roller coaster like the mine cart track on hoodwinked, only with loops as well.
zacsta_1997 10 Report post Posted July 22, 2015 When I was younger I had a book where I drew my dream rides and coasters. One the designs was a drop tower that tilts over so you face the ground as you drop... Someone stole my idea
Skeeta 2,101 Report post Posted July 23, 2015 I love all the coaster Rocky Mountain Construction are doing at the moment. I never been on one but love the look of them. Has anyone on this site had the chance to ride one? I also has a sketch book sacsta but once the internet came along I realised some had hacked my brain while I slept and stolen all my designs. the12thworld 1 Report post Posted July 23, 2015 A coaster that combines an S&S Space Shot and a regular steel coaster, with twists and inversions of sorts.
Slick 1,896 Report post Posted July 23, 2015 I still think there's a lot left to be discovered in terms of fourth dimension coasters. I'd imagine sometime in the next decade we'll see them make a comeback - who-ever can revisit the concept and make it cheaper for parks to own and operate will be onto something. I'm not sure what the obstacle was for going with an electronic system for spinning the seats, one naturally presumes redundancy and safety, in which case, if someone like Intamin can innovate the tech and overcome the need for a rack and pinion / second track system, they'll be on a winner. I can imagine mega-lites with customisable inversions for guests or "pick your intensity" scenarios. Super marketable for operators, and opens a pandora box of what could be potentially a new golden age for rides.

I've been on new texas giant and it's one of the best rides I've ridden. Fast pacing, airtime in every direction (Including "sideways airtime" on the overbanks. Plus the steep first drop is mental.I've seen Wicked Cyclone testing, but was at the park about 6 days too early so was spited :(
AUSTHEMEPARKS 14 Report post Posted July 23, 2015 Even Kentucky Kingdom are getting one next year! Discovery Kingdom are probably getting one too since they are closing ROAR. I always thought that they should make the Six flags america version of ROAR an RMC.
AllegroCrab 214 Report post Posted July 23, 2015 Have you seen this RMC? - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pk3H2hjpEBw&user=StellarKart66I don't even know what the heck is going on there. It looks like someone was mucking around in NoLimits and forgot to add roll vertices on their airtime hills but decided that it was cool anyway.
