Accident at Wet'n'wild - here we go again

Wet’n’Wild issued a statement shortly after the incident, confirming the teenage girl had complained of pain in her neck at the completion of the ride.

“Lifeguards and the on-site nurse provided first aid,” the statement read. “The guest advised lifeguards of a pre-existing condition and she was transported to hospital as a matter of precaution.”

“The safety and wellbeing of guests is the highest priority at Wet’n’Wild Gold Coast.

“The park has a highly trained emergency response team and works closely with emergency services.”

Witnesses told myGC the Aqua Loop slide was closed for around an hour. It has since reopened.

 

Just like POP is always going to be a dick every time somebody sneezes at a theme park we will know about it.
