Thanks @Brad2912, i also noticed more of the lower supports leading into the large supports near the large sign.

I was blocked out in traffic so was not able to get in for more photos, glad you got that new support towards the turn around area though not sure what could be there now...need more supports to help figure it out.

As already said, there is plenty of movement, with a couple more pieces installed, but today it seems the focus is moving the footings from the carpark to the coaster site. Tried the best I could to get some photos of the footings at the station and break run area, but with the new fencing it has made it a bit trickier. There seems to be even more pieces of track on site now, some with a good curve to them. You'll also notice a number of pieces have had some of the paint removed off parts of the track.

That doesn't look like paint removal... moreso it looks like they've had to patch it - perhaps something got a little scratched in transit or lifting, so they've had to patch the area - the grey looks like a primer \ rust protector, and they've probably let it dry before they come back at touch it up with the correct colour.

If anyone sees them painting those areas, shout out to them and ask them what colour they're using! :P

I'm at the park now, will try and get photos if I have time at the end of day.

I saw a piece of track being lifted into position earlier this morning but the carpark was too full so I couldn't stop and get a photo.

Truth!! Got here at 10 this morning and carpark was near full already - had to park in the parallel parking area just to make sure we didn't miss out.

When I went to the park yesterday at about 2pm to take some photos of the coaster, the main carpark was full, but there was still plenty of room on the grass area.

TPSN just posted a video, and there are 3 pieces in place

Cheers @jack.c for the photo. Any chance for a wider shot, or are they the only two pieces in position?

I stole the photo from instagram. Sorry to disappoint! There is however footage on TPSN if you want to check it out.

Just a side note @jack.c, it is always best to give credit to the source of where the photo is from.

TPSN is not a real source.   "First pieces of new hyper coaster are getting placed!"  NO! TPSN the supports were placed first not the track getting placed in your video.

Besides that it's all good.

Yes he is! How else would we have heard about the new fountain or bridge ride at Sea World?

On topic though, good to see some track finally getting installed. Maybe the can make the September deadline after all?

Maybe the reason they're starting construction with this seemingly random section of the ride and not with the lift hill or close to the beginning is so they can use it as a backdrop to do their announcement from, would be a cool, striking image to hold a press conference in front of.

They wouldn't just "randomly" choice a location to start building and I would think it has nothing to do with an announcement.

I imagine it might be to do with the lift hills locations being so close to GL, and with it still being school holidays for some states, they don't want to close the ride when they can install other sections of the ride. It might also be because they don't need a massive crane just yet (or it might not be available yet) so they are starting with the lower sections of the track. So in conclusion, no idea.
