So damn SHOOK.

Here's a couple i got this morning.

Some of the new track and other parts that has arrived The camelback The drop Other

Posted Images

The only non-inverting loop I rode was on Sky Scream at Holiday Park. It was really forceless and forgettable. But this looks really different! Different shaping, probably different pace and certainly longer trains. Judging by the shape of the element, it would not provide a lot of airtime (if any), but a lot of furious laterals instead! I also expect the loop to ride quite differently whether you sit at the front or the back.

I truly gotta give credit to Mack here. They're trying something new and push the envelope every time!

Yeah neither of those comments above is true. The park hasn't released the cost at all.

And let me tell you if it was 35 million it would most definitely be a total project cost and not just for the ride.

Just drove past and they've put the final supports ontop of the loop, sorry couldn't get any pics. Looks amazing :)

It's now very visible coming from the south, I still struggle to imagine how massive the lift hill is going to look coming around that corner.

Terrible angle, taken from my phone (sorry for the pole in the way, was in a bit of a rush), but here's another look at the fully-completed supports for the NI loop

It's really amazing driving southbound along the motorway now, the loop is really majestic as you see it slowly rising above the trees. Certainly going to attract lots of people to the park just alone.

Mid-week Update courtesy of an unplanned visit. [28-06-17]

Storage Lot

DSCN7977.thumb.JPG.3b37d989c7b8cefb0ec71f4108864a30.JPG

The smallest support in the lift hill area. (Literally the only reason I've included this photo - it's a cute little thing compared to the behemoth its underneath)

Whatever these things are. (Yeah yeah.. I recognise that it's scaffolding.)

Brake run catwalks.

There are three new pieces in the lot (since my previous update) - however, due to the position of the sun I have no good photos of them.

Non-Inverted Loop

The shot that you're going to see a lot throughout the rides lifetime. (Well, minus the fencing... and probably from a different angle... oh and maybe a visible train... but that's basically still the same, right?)

More supports for the first airtime hill. Look to be fully assembled and will likely be slotted in place fully completed.

Remember the thumbnail for that Parkz Update? Yeah, there's track there now. Swooping down into the loop is going to be amazing.

This support has been hangin like this for a while now... Anyone else see that the top one looks like it won't line up with the ground support? Would this require new parts to be fabricated or concrete piles moved?

MS Paint to the rescue...  Draw a line from the top of the top part to the bottom of the bottom part...  Looks like they will to me...

That support was initially connected (as one of the first parts of the ride to go vertical) but was, however, removed after the installation of the (?)Camelback hill(?) underneath.DSCN7204.thumb.JPG.ad4d12ad816fb8b571d08de492e17bc0.JPG

So it definitely lines up with the ground support, and it wasn't in the way of the track below, but still must've been just too close. (or was damaged during track install?)

Thanks for the great update @ThemeTendo. The storage lot in the movie world carpark has been used for both the coaster and TopGolf constructions for a while now. My guess on this is that the scaffolding is likely for vertical construction of the topgolf building (although its always possible it could be for the stationhouse).

Saw this in person yesterday and thought it was really looking impressive, pictures don't do it justice. l mean it makes Superman Escape look tiny and extends the visual footprint of the park so much, really a terrific addition. MW just going from strength to strength.
