Greg isn’t the only one who has come to DW form down the road recently. DW’s Operations Manager and head of Attractions and Aquatics have been let go and replaced with their Village Roadshow counterparts.

Something must stink at Village.

And I'm not talking about the toilets during peak periods.

Yes thats correct. In a post about  3 weeks ago I mentioned that the Entertainment Manager and another 2 managers were made redundant.

There is only 2 managers left that were there in October 2016.

The large amount of other managers have either jumped the sinking ship or made redundant.

With new management in maybe plans will change.

I don't understand why Dreamworld keep changing the dates. One minute it says it's closed for 3 months then a few days they decide to open it again. 🤪

An example of why could be something like "A potentially custom built replacement part turned out to be a faulty connector that was easily replaced".

Or the person behind the website got their dates screwed up.

Temple of Huey are the slides that are really in need for a repaint. They have so much bird shit on them and faded to buggery it's not funny .

Dreamworld wouldn’t be to concerned because it’s secluded at the back of the park. Although it is disgusting and makes the slides look dirty.

...or the park noticed some people were aligning the maintenance dates with school holidays and clueing on to what they were doing, and they thought better of it *wishful thinking*

A new maintenance schedule for WWW has been released.

This includes a period between 12-18 September where only 4 attractions at WWW will be operational. So essentially 3/4 of the park is closed during this time (as dates are overlapping big time)

The repaint for the primary slide tower is now extending until mid September alongside with most attractions entering a maintenance period of at least 1 month. These dont seem long enough to be a repaint however I'm hoping that the Temple of Huey's maintenance will involve a waterblast if we are lucky.
