14 posts in this topic

So the first of the 2020 ride announcements have kicked of with Busch Gardens Williamsburg’s new multi launch Intamin coaster. DF12E0DC-BD2A-43C6-BD2F-F28E10C76768.thumb.jpeg.71adf98241f58341b42422675358e83e.jpeg

It is good to see the return of Intamin rides in the states with 2 at Universal and more rumoured.

Also forgot last weeks Candymonium at Hershey Park the B&M hyper coaster.

The new giga for Kings Island just got announced.

FYI. The brake run on this coaster is taller than anything at Alton Towers.

RMC Raptor leaked for Six Flags Great Adventure. Six Flags gets announced today, but Over Texas is getting a Mack Powersplash as track is already on site.

I'd like to see WnW get a Powersplash in the future.

The Jersey Devil looks like a beast of a ride!!!  Maybe this is the ride that Dreamworld should have gone with?? Or as a follow up to the Blue Fire clone??

And yeah the Powersplash is leftover from the cancelled Six Flags Dubai park, of which several rides had already been procured. Look for the rest of these rides to be spread out amongst the other Six Flags properties.

And a Powersplash for WnW?

I would rather see one at Seaworld as a direct replacement for the Vikings Revenge............

A powersplash wouldn't work at Sea World as they already have Storm which is basically the same thing but its full circuit. On the other side of the story, a big, tall shuttle water coaster that gets you soaked sounds like a good replacement for Surfrider.

On the topic of the Raptor, I think the smaller base Raptor model that's at California's Great America would be a good replacement for HWSW.

Didnt realise that Surfrider needed replacing...........pretty sure its not at end of life yet.

Is it just me or is it that because these single-rail coasters lack a track design with cross-hatching/ties underneath that it's all but impossible to figure out relative speed and almost looks un-natural?
