Can confirm that Green Lantern is getting a repaint and work to the card done. Track is currently being pressure hosed.

Pathway for TopGolf if you have finished the day at the park as the main pathway is closed for the repaint

the hoarded fence would be to protect the ride\park envelope, as the park fencing may be opened \ removed in order to permit lift equipment to access the ride envelope. Then as JWorld mentioned, the 'bike rack' fencing placed outside of that establishes a pedestrian walkway.

Normally the full height fencing allows a path for the boom lift to drive along the entrance road while they are working on the track. Its normally outside the ride barrier fencing in like this corridoor spaced away from the kerb so the boom has solid concrete to drive on. Same thing was in place when they were closed before christmas holidays. 

God that’s a tad tacky letting them hang their dodgy banner. 

At least now I know who to call if I want to repaint my rollercoaster

Can confirm, MW wasn't gonna take down the banner so I pulled an Andrew H, scaled the structure and yoinked it

28/2 Update

 

Almost done, just the lift hill to go 

 

Was at the park today- Painting was all but finished bar some final touches on the lift hill and a few other sections.

When I was at the park this morning, GL is looking really good with its fresh repaint, but I did notice there is once area of the track that wasn't completed (This is an older photo, I'm just using it to highlight the park I'm talking about)

I see GL maintenance period has been extended again. I wonder if it’s for actual maintenance or COVID related?
 

if it’s not opening till nov that will mean that it has only operated 2 months in the last year.
