Theme Parks Reopening Post COVID-19

The other thing you have to consider is this would be Doomsday's first major shutdown, considering the arms have been taken off for the first time since opening.  This would typically entail greater inspection detail and correspondence between the park and manufacturer with data and feedback that would result in change that is unbeknown to park at the time of inspection or even the guest once it reopens.

They were being crazy the other day, got told not to slide our belts in, they kept reopening them and re-locking, then sending the train for test at times.

New policy as of a few weeks ago, you are not to do your own seat belt on Rivals otherwise yes, they will unlock it and do it again.

A couple things to note for MW and SW

SW have changed the way you move around Shark Bay. The touch pool is now not accessible at all. Instead you cross the bridge, so left, go down to the viewing, back up then right towards the bridge and back across

At MW they now have A frames before the ticket booths stating what rides are closed

And the extended queue area for Superman is massive. It is the entire indoor queue area, stretches towards the AA entry, down this path and then back again.

Maybe WorkSafe can just ride for us all together.

this country honestly 🙄

I don’t know why it’s taken this long to be honest as it’s the way the ride is meant to be operated according to Mack.

It’s so it’s easy to be sure the harness is locking properly and not just being held closed by the belt.

I was waiting for the sandwich board sign to return. Thank you for the update.

Different manufacturers am aware but are Superman having the same thing occur now? Along with Scooby and Road Runner?

Ok, so at this point, with TOT, Wipeout and log ride gone, big red car and flowrider to be removed, Buzzsaw, Sidewinder and Giant Drop closed for maintenance, despite the additional months they had to get everything online for re-opening, and the covid-safe attraction closures of

  • Mad Jungle Jam
  • Play School Art Room iPads
  • Corroboree Face Painting Experience
  • Corroboree Virtual Reality Experience
  • Animal Experiences
  • LEGO Interactive Building Area
  • LEGO Mini Figure Station

...we can NOW lambast them for having so many rides closed on reopening, just as MW did.
