12 years ago, a DW/WWW annual pass was newly $200, so they did go up over time, but then in 2011 VRTP decided to drop their passes to $99, DW had to match to compete and now the public have an expectation that’s how much they should be. So based off inflation, passes should be closer to $250 now, but they can’t because people don’t see value in paying that

looking at only DW photos from this site. 2002 annual pass $97, nearly 20 years later the annual price has not changed much.

It's changed a lot - as @themagician said it was as high as $200 - and I even recall it being as low as $49 renewal at one point after TRRR.

The fact it has settled back to $99 is because the psychological barrier at $100 is a tough marker. I think once Taipan opens, we'll see it go up again.

Well village passes are around $170 - $150 now, and people are clearly willing to pay that if the offerings are as great as villages offerings. Dreamworld's own fault they have to offer a discounted pass because the offerings aren't there to ask more.

That village pricing is also a discounted offering. The full (non locals) one pass is $245 today.
