Volare Review

by AheadMatthewawsome, 3 months ago
Volare is the newest ride at Luna Park, it is an Chairswing which has the most capacity of any Chairswing in Australia. This makes the queue time extremely efficient. If you don't want fear in your flight, start off with the double seats. As the single seats including the fear of crashing into a building. There is also some mild nausea on the ride, but you are extremely unlikely to throw up. If you want to try some more thrilling rides in the future, this is the best place to start.

Intensity

You do not get really any noticable g forces or airtime. The experience that you get on the double seats is generally fun, and you feel like that you are flying. But when you are on the single seats, there is genuine fear that you will hit the painted city blocks, the operators building, or the Helter Skelter Cafe!
Good

Rider Comfort

The seats are plastic of a lap bar with an seat belt to keep you in place. There are no uncomfortable areas of the ride yet as of August 2020. It could become more uncomfortable as the ride ages.

Theming/Storyline

Volare is supposed to be an experience where you are flying around the City Of Sydney, and it does that in the best way it can. Including some crashing into some buildings.

There has been no visible damage that I have seen as of August 2020.
Great

With 64 seats on the ride. Even if you are at the back of the queue on an busy day. You will get past the queue in less than 7 minutes!
