The Parkz Update: Warner Bros. Movie World, May 2010

Though nothing major is happening at Movie World, we stopped in for a look at a few of the small changes that have taken place recently.

Hey guys, am at an Internet cafe at Movie World, it's so coooool!!!!!!
14 Friends like this.
Yardglasses now on sale at Movie World, refillable with soft drink for $2.95. Unfortunatley, we didn't get a chance to see whether they would refill them at the bar for a Bob Hawke style yardglass challenge, but if one of you guys does try this, let us know how it goes.
Dog Tag machines seem to be the new 'in thing'.
But everyone knows a Superman dog tag is better than a Batman one. (Note: do not expose to Kyptonite.)
Lethal Weapon is down for its annual maintenance.
So is the Marvin Rocket (Does this thing even have a proper name?)
Ride rotation is in effect at Movie World during the off-peak season. Looney Tunes is rotating with Batman Adventure.
And, we'll finish off this Movie World segment with a bit of theme park geekiness. Those Disney fans out there might know that the Tower of Terror at Disneys Hollywood Studios was designed so that its appearance wouldn't clash with the Moroccan pavillion at Epcot, since the tower of Terror can be seen in the background when looking across Epcots main lagoon. (Thanks to Deror Avi from Wikipedia for the photo)
Well, you can see a bit of this at Movie World... Batwing ties in nicely with Gotham City Hall.
And the scenery of Yosemite Sam's Railroad seems to continue into the distance too, with Wild West Falls in the background.

Movie World closures:
No maintenance planned
