Journey to Atlantis Review

Clearly this was SeaWorld Orlando's attempt at taking on the "mouse". While it's hard not to enjoy a classic ride-system like a water coaster, the interior sections are lacking in working props and efficient storytelling, while the exteriors often leave you wanting for the next segment to start.

Enjoyment

It's hard not to enjoy a classic flume-style attraction, especially when it's ends with a water coaster segment.

Pacing

While the interior sections are of a perfect length, the outdoor lifts and segments meandering around the exterior show building leave much to be desired.
Poor

Theming/Storyline

During my visit, we had know clue what the plot was beyond "Journey to Atlantis". Many of the interior thematic elements are not working as well. Very reminiscent of Bermuda Triangle during it's last years
Poor

Upkeep/Presentation

While some parts of the attraction look great, some others look like they have been untouched since the rides opening in the 90's

Queue/Efficiency

Many empty seats during our ride, which can be quite frustrating when the queue time is pushing an hour.
