At the time of opening the ride attracted numerous complaints from local residents. One such complaint was that "the people attracted by the 'hoony ride' are detrimental to the neighbourhood", whilst another said it was “an ugly monstrosity”.

Perhaps the main bugbear of the ride is the rattle in the trains. Their lightweight nature means they can shake and rattle a bit. Reportedly the park and manufacturer are still fine tuning things, given the prototype nature of the ride. For the smoothest experience, sit in the front row.
