Even the allure of air conditioning on a hot summer's day doesn't draw many in for the regular screenings of rather forgettable DreamWorks short films.

The cinema was given a modest overhaul when it was converted from IMAX in 2011, but gutting this worn down facility for the flying theatre will be no great loss.

The foyer's bare minimum, Madagascar-inspired theming also won't be missed.

Another ride that's been in and out of maintenance all year, Tower of Terror II is up and running.

Crowds continue to descend on Dreamworld as school holidays draw to a close.

It's always good to see these original ticket offices being used, given that they sit dormant for much of the year.

The way they offer a peak into the park for queuing guests is a far more exciting way to start a day at a theme park than filing unceremoniously through the guest services building.

For something different, here's an Ocean Parade flat ride towering over palm trees. The vast majority on Tail Spin tend to go for gentle rocking or not at all rather than aiming for furious barrel rolls.

Wipeout is the last remaining example of the Arrow/Vekoma style horsecollar restraint in Australia.
