An overview of the site. Footings are present to literally a couple of meters away from the cream coloured fence at the far end of the site. The new coaster is not the only thing happening however, in the foreground the Vikings Revenge Flume has been fully resurfaced and repainted.

The coaster will be quite close to the existing flume ride. On the left you can see that a section of walkway that ran between Sesame St Beach at the Vikings Revenge has been hacked away in a distinctive curve to accomodate a turn in the track.

The 2nd billboard promoting the new ride. It wasn't that long ago that new attractions seemed to be kept top secret till a couple of weeks before opening day. How times have changed.

The monorail has been out of action for so long that nature is starting to take over in places.

The switch track for the maintenance shed. The curved steel rail in the middle rotates to change the track direction when they need to add or remove trains from the main course.

And the overall feel of The New Atlantis feels "fresh", if nothing else. Once open and completed it should create a sense of kinetic energy that Sea World's been sorely lacking for many years.

It's hard to capture just how much Leviathan changes the landscape at Sea World. Entirely for the better.

It's been a significant period of downtime for Jet Rescue but everything is looking good for its reopening in coming days.
