Since this is a 'stand up' coaster. the need exists to accomodate guests of different heights, so the harness and backrest is on a mechanisim that allows it to slide up and down.

Twisted Colossus is a rebirth of the original Colossus roller coaster, which opened in 1978. The original ride was a pair of racing wooden coasters, but a rebuild in 2015 saw new steel tracks, a much more twisted and extreme layout, and the connection of the two tracks into one continuous mobius loop.
