Sea World to build new attraction

June 2005 is the expected date of an all new seal and sea lion exhibit.

Though as yet there are no details from the park available, it is expected that the attraction will be found on the now-empty plot of land once occupied by the Thrillseeker Rollercoaster, before it was removed in 2002. This location puts it directly between Polar Bear Shores and the Viking's Revenge Flume Ride. It is also close to the Planet S.O.S. theatre and Shark Bay.

The attraction is expected to be named "Seal Rocks", continuing a geographically-inspired trend of attraction names, which has seen Dolphin Cove, Polar Bear Shores and Shark Bay open in recent years.

With this brand new exhibit for Sea Lions and seals, it is expected that the existing enclosure near Cartoon Network Cartoon beach will eventually be removed to allow for an expansion of the popular childrens area.
