Polar Bear Shores to receive new cub

Orphaned Polar bear cub from Canada to call Sea World its new home.

This bear will be the fifth to call Polar Bear Shores home, and one of four currently in the exhibit.

Sea World's Polar Bear Shores opened in 2000 with two bears, Ping Ping, an eight year old male, and Kanook, a female. In 2001 Lia and Lutik, cubs from Russia were added to the attraction. Earlier this year Kanook, the oldest bear in the exhibit, was euthanised due to a battle with kidney failure.
