Superman Escape layout complete

The entire roller coaster portion of Superman Escape, Warner Bros. Movie World's newest mega-themed thrill ride has been completed, from launch to brake run.

Image: Richard Wilson. With all elements now in place on Australia's newest thrill ride, the layout for the high-speed coaster section of the ride is now complete, revealing a tight layout featuring a variety of drops, turns and anything inbetween.
The ride kicks off with a 100km/hr launch into a 40m top hat - with track angles of nearly 90º. The ride then dives into a high-speed ground hugging banked turn, which spirals around into a camel back - which sits over 20m in the air. A twist to the left puts the ride back indoors for a tight overbanked turn over the launch track. A second twisting camel back follows which levels out before a dive-turn to ground-level - an element unique to Superman Escape - with a final curve upwards and a crest before dropping into the sloped brake run.

Superman Escape opens at Warner Bros. Movie World at Christmas.
