Aussie World Events Set to Celebrate Return of Interstate Tourism
Aussie World will be the epicentre of family, fun and laughter this summer hosting two of the Sunshine Coast’s biggest celebrations over the holidays.
Fan favourite, Christmas Spectacular will make its return this year and will be followed later in the month by the first ever Ride the Night New Year’s Eve event!
“Our school holiday line-up is going to be the perfect way to celebrate the festive season along with the fact the borders are reopening, and interstate travellers can return to Queensland,” said Aussie World Manager Shannon Fay.
“Our kind of fun is for everyone at Aussie World and we are looking forward to welcoming our interstate friends on their long-awaited return to the sunshine state.”
Christmas will come to Aussie World on Saturday 18 December, giving guests the chance to meet Santa and share their Christmas gift wish list.
The event will bring you face to face with Christmas characters, roving entertainers and dancers, and will keep you entertained throughout the day with our live Christmas shows, and good old-fashioned theme park fun.
Dazzling Christmas lights, falling snowflakes and live entertainment headlined by singing sensation Katie Noonan will top off the spectacular celebration.
To end the year with a bang, and a whole lot of fun, Ride the Night is back with a New Year’s Eve special on Friday 31 December from 5pm.
This will be the first time Aussie World has hosted a New Year’s celebration. The event will begin in the theme park, featuring acrobatic roamers, an impressive fireworks display and live music until 9pm.
The party will then move into the Banana Bender Pub, where guests can bring in the new year to 1980s tunes bought to you by a live DJ.
Aussie World and the Banana Bender Pub are open seven days a week all summer.
